Why do you not enjoy playing Pinhead? I think he's the most fun in the game.

His possessed chain is really fun until you remember using it successfully accomplishes next to nothing.

personally it has came down to not being the best with him and being on ps4, the fps doesnt help i can tell you that, i have been playing him a bit recently and hes ok, i dont mind the odd game but theres just so much more id prefer to play

It actually accomplishes quite a lot. There's a lot of decent loops that take a good amount of time to mindgame and possibly win which become near useless against Pinhead. It can even kind of deal with Shift W a little bit, you just need to know when is the right time to use it.
There is also the fact that you just can't use exhaustion perks while chained.
His M2 is a lot better than most people realize. I've had so much value from it even without Engineer's Fang.

Yeah but it's such a pain to use. Especially when you load into a survivor sided map like the game. Then you are basically needing to be pixel perfect for the effect of a clown bottle.
Good survivors will make it difficult to quickscope-chain them. And nothing is worse than RNG screwing you over and them just instantly breaking all 3 or even you being forced to break them yourself as you advance towards them.
I actually hate his power but I play him because I love the character. The only fun thing is the box. The M2 is some hot garbo. For the amount of effort it takes you should just play Nurse and slaughter everyone instead of getting a few seconds of slowdown.

I personally like how hard it is to use, because it feels like I'm actually getting rewarded fairly for doing something that takes a lot more effort than "press m2, press m1" such as:
- Nemesis
- Artist
- Trickster
- Deathslinger
- Clown
- Pyramid Head
- and more...
As I said, I get a lot of value out of it, even against visibly good Survivors (especially since Dead Hard is a lot less of a pain to deal with while still being somewhat present). And even if I don't get too much value out of it, every hit chain feels super satisfying because of the punchy sound effects while using it (every time I land one that satisfied groan Pinhead does right after is basically me). RNG can be a bit frustrating, but I find that this mainly only applies to indoor maps which, yeah, that sucks, but it's overwhelmingly fun with only a bit of frustration.
I love his character and his power. I think he has one of the best-designed powers in the game, especially when taking into account the box.

I guess but i'm not always loading into DBD to have to sweat my butt off for every single damage state. There is Nurse or Blight for that.
I don't think he's bad at all if you are landing every chain, but if you are landing every chain then you could be landing every blink. It's literally the same mechanic but with extra steps to damage someone and a few bells and whistles in the form of the box. I only play him because I am a hellraiser fan.

And I completely get that. I get that a lot of people would rather just pick Nurse, but I don't because I don't like Nurse as a character and I don't want to have to rely on just that. I want to do M1 Killer gameplay too sometimes. Plus, Nurse doesn't have the box, which feels insanely good to learn about where it spawns and be rewarded for doing your homework on the Killer.
