New cheat: wiggle off in 6 tries.
On my last game of the night, I went against some sloppy but very cocky survivors.
I was trying to so some rift so I didn't pay much attention at first but my first hook failed because one of them escaped my grasp very quickly.
No matter : she wasn't very good so I got her again and this time I'm starting to count the wiggles to reach the hook. It was fine but at 6 she wiggled off, a meter or so from the hook. I was wondering if there was somebody with Breakout and if, maybe, they were two and it stacked.
In the end game chat, they appeared to be beginners (not even a complete set of perks, which I expected given how obvious it was they didn't know how to play properly) but I was not able to hook any of them. What was more interesting is that they had not a single perk that would have accounted for their feat.
Any idea when that kind of filth will be excised from the player base?

Only one option left then: slugging. You need to make them bleed out.

That was an option but since I was focused on doing the rift instead of killing, that option wouldn't have helped me.
If I had realized they were cheating before the end game lobby, I would have recorded the game too. I usually do but again ... rift mode.

I saw a jill at 99 on her wiggle meter when picked up, then she got downed by the gate, wiggled off because she has 99 on her wiggle again, I'm on ps4 so i have the clip saved, ill upload it at some point, as I'm playing elden ring atm

What would be the point of getting off in 6 wiggles tho? If you can use a cheat to get off faster wouldn't you just get off immediately?

Hackers can get up even if you try to bleed them out.

Isn't there a bug that let's you wiggle off immediately going on right now ?

apparently wiggle bars of other survivors transfer to you, so if you body block a hook and get downed and the survivor escapes the killer grasp you also get off with one wiggle.

This is something that has been reported over in Bug Reports https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs Please feel free to upvote the report regarding the issue you are experiencing. In the future, if you run into a potential bug or issue, please check and see if it has been reported already and upvote it, otherwise you can open a new report following the guidelines.
