I have to COMPLETELY AGREE here. There's way too many things that are downright BS or even borderline unfair that killers have, that really makes something like DH completely fair and understandable to run. Considering the number of anti-chase, anti-loop killers, EXTREME high mobility / teleport powers, dedicated servers giving killers with bad internet an advantage, overall map changes & nerfs.

I legitimately question it so much though. These people sound like they've never struggled with killer, not even once. They rarely offer any insight, from the killer's perspective, as to why something does or doesn't need nerfing.

But even when Ruin/Undying is still up, what's stopping a survivor from coming back and finishing the gen after you've pushed them off? There's no guarantee that the regression you got brought the gen back down to 70% for another Tinkerer. And even if it did, what are you gonna do, drop chase to go back there? You're trading pressure for pressure in every instance, meanwhile the survivors are advancing on their objective because they win the war of attrition.

Gotta agree actually, Totems should be designed to spawn away from gens and other POI
