Mad Grit does not affect (briefly pause) Boil Over
As the Onryo, I had Mad Grit equipped, was carrying a survivor who had Boil Over, and successfully hit another survivor. The survivor on my shoulder stopped the wiggling animation, but I was still struggling to walk normally because of Boil Over's continued effect.
Since Boil Over increases the survivor's Wiggle effects against the killer, it should have no effect at all when the survivor is not Wiggling or their Wiggling is paused from Mad Grit.

Thats intended mechanics, only the progression of the wiggling stops, the wiggle animation still continues.

Mad Grit stops them from wiggling. Their wiggle effects should be nullified since they are not wiggling.
If a survivor chooses not to wiggle, the killer is not affected by Boil Over. This means the Boil Over mechanic is bugged.

It only affects the wiggle timer (well, beside the fact that it's a progression bar and not an actual timer).

Then Mad Grit should not stop the animation of the Survivor wiggling

It kinda doesn't? Survivor wiggle animation stops when the killer attacks another survivor.
