Killers should have 5 perk slots

I think we should see perks with "weight" depending on how impactful they are on a game. Survivor perks have a lot of weight because the meta is very strong (Dead hard, CoH, DS, IW, etc). This wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't because all 4 survivors run the same meta perks every time.

But sadly for killers, even a meta build is outweighted by survivor's meta. It is 16 perks against 4, after all. And to make things even worse, as a killer you need to "give up" on a slot for a slowdown perk if you don't want survivors tbagging at the gates at the 5 minute mark. So, you already have one less perk slot for the fun build you were planning.

I think 5 perk slots for killers would relieve some of the limitations killer builds have, and you actually could have a chance to use a build without feeling like being genrushed.

    So, Corrupt Intervention/Hex: Ruin/Hex: Undying/Pop Goes The Weasel/Hex: No One Escapes Death or Corrupt Intervention/Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance/Dead Man's Switch/Call Of Brine/Pop Goes The Weasel every game?

    5 Perk slots won't fix much. Gens will still go fast because that's the only objective Survivors have and stacking more and more slowdown won't help lower tier Killers and will only make higher tier Killers even better

    He said 5 slots with limitations of how strong each perk is. Maybe read past the title. I would prefer 6 slots with :

    • 2 slowdown max
    • 2 info max
    • 2 utility max (franklin, noed…)

    Perks are balanced with a 4 setup on mind, making it 5 will require to fix a ton of incredible busted combos.

    No thanks. I don't mind on Trapper, Legion, Myers etc.


    But we have Nurse and Blight in game.

    I think we should have 8 actually, 1 extra for each survivor and that would still be just half of what they have, so its very balanced and fair IMO.

    I would want 5 perks just so Obsession Builds are less restrictive. If you don't bring Furtive Chase or Nemesis, then your whole build can fall through because the obsession DC'd. Maybe top tier killers dream up boring Slow Down builds, but I think most slow down builds are run because of such strict limitations. Realistically you only get two Perks; A and B and then C and D to cover the weaknesses of A and B.

    Killer should have perk 6 slots and give KWF to couter SWF.
