Has anyone figured out how to get the wrathful well charm yet?

Weird. I play the PS4 version on PS5 and I have gotten the charm 2-3 days ago. I don't own the Chapter, only The Onryō

dude I got the dlc day 1 watched the intro a lot more then I like and I got adept for both killer and survivor and it been over 7 days for me so now what?

The fact their saying there is a way to trigger the secret scene is what annoys me the most.. How have people who have not logged in for months or bought the chapter get it but people who spend time and money on the game don't.. they didn't think this over well especially if it's only a limited time deal

I'm pretty sure now that it is a bug, that people who haven't played recently got the charm, but obviously the devs think it's fine that they get it :(

I hear you there, I literally own every cosmetic, purchase every rift, and event item. Yet this free item is locked behind some unknown mystery. If it is limited that is really sad.

they need to give us better hint how to unlock it or if it bugged just give it to everyone at this point.

Thanks everyone for the information on this. We are aware of an issue in which some players have not received the Sadako Well Charm and it's something that we are looking into. Thank you for your continued patience whilst we resolve this issue.

It still is, as far as I’m aware. I have seen people on Twitter saying they got it.

I’m fine with the devs keeping the charm’s unlock method a secret as long as this isn’t a limited time event to earn it. If someone from the team could at least confirm that, I can rest easy.

I don't believe there is a secret method at this point. It's a completely random day to day login event or it's bugged.. Too many people who hardly play the game or didn't buy dlc got it so gameplay doesn't look like it triggers the scene.. this has been insanely frustrating for me because I login and play everyday still nothing no matter what I do.. hopefully they just do codes from now on

I can confirm that I received the charm 7 days after purchasing the Onryō DLC on Steam. I bought the DLC on March 14th at 01:00 AM and got it today on March 21th at 01:37 AM

I purchased on day of release and nothing. If this is the case of unlocking it sounds like it's bugged unless you need to open game at the hour you purchased dlc. Nothing makes sense since people who haven't bought chapter got charm.. hopefully we get some answers soon

its gotten to the point that ive deleted DBD from my ps4 just to reinstall it again to see if that would do anything..... still loading and most likely wont. but we'll see

Nope. I can't believe nobody from BHVR has said anything about this yet.. no way it's working like they intended. I'm not gonna be happy if I get left out from getting charm because they refuse to say anything about if. Literally nobody knows how they got it

This whole ordeal has soured my mood to play the game completely. I have every charm through all rifts, dlc, logins, and codes so this is annoying as hell. Punish the people who spend time and money on the game but give charm to people who hardly play the game doesn't make much sense to me

I feel the same, I also have everything you said. As well as owning the game on multiple platforms (steam, epic, switch, ps4, ps5) so as a completionist this is annoying. Hell I even paid $60 for both the killer and survivor editions for the two charms. Sad.

Those two charms are the only ones I don't have but at least I know how to obtain them if I want them at some point. Hopefully we all get the Sadako charm but BHVR being so quiet about it isn't helping

Guys, guess what, I got the charm today. Sounds cool right? But it isn't. I started the game with my pc account (I haven't played on pc for month) and got it there. But on my ps4 account on which I play every day....NO CHARM! 😭 But at least we know it's still obtainable.

Update: just got it on my switch as well…I don’t own the chapter and never even played public on it. I only got it because of the trapper exclusive. I do log in for BP codes or login rewards. This is funny. I play almost every day on my PlayStation. I

The charm has to be completely random RNG at this point. All the clues seem to point that gameplay has nothing to do with it and it's a random day to day occurrence if you get..

I've tried everything since the patch came out and I'm just at a loss for words. If theres supposed to be an Easter Egg mechanically tied to something you've done in-game it is 100% not working properly at all. Since as evidenced here AFK accounts on certain platforms receive the charm instantly after having not played the game for a while, if at all. Yet people who play the game will either still get it randomly distributed or like me, or rather all of us still waiting in this case will just never get it at all.
I am assuming its working as intended with the Eater Egg being just the Cursed Video Tape playing after the boot up Menu, but I am pretty sure for some accounts like the Iridecent Shard situation with Leatherface is that the distribution factor is bugged and just not giving it to everyone.
My Platform is PlayStation, mostly PS5 so it might actually be mostly a problem on the PlayStation versions of the game as well. Alls I can say is I hope the Hotfix 2 patch (if we get one this week, we usually do.) will address the Wrathful Well situation. Or they can just please do us a solid and create a code for the charm because of the buggy or RNG distribution (and at least make the code time-limited for another 7 days or something.
