Survivor mains, what are the most annoying perks you see run? (Excluding NOED)
Just curious.

Dead man's switch and pain resonance
I really can't be annoyed with anything other than that combo especially on nurse.

Self-care

No Way Out

Edit:
Oh sorry 🤣 just saw that it was about killer perks.
1 -
I use self-care and botany :(
3 -
This. At this point I'd rather tap a gen at the beginning of the match and see it starts to regress
4 -
Rancor

Just stacked gen slowdown.
3 -
MYC on nurse or wraith (especially if they use FOR with it), if it’s any other killer idc really.
Insidious on anyone.
Outside of that I wouldn’t say any individual killer perk bothers me that much other than noed. I get more annoyed when I see nurse and blight with 4 slowdowns and the player is clearly skilled enough that they don’t need it to win, than I do by any other singular perk besides what I listed. If it’s a lower tier killer then idc.

Scorge hook run with dead man’s switch, pop & ruin

I'm a killer main, but probably Insidious - as it means 100% that someone is getting facecamped on the first down.
Sadly, that's the killer meta. If you don't have 2 slots filled with regression perks, you're going to have a bad time unless you are very confident.
It's only a really nasty combo on Artist and Cenobite, imho.
For everyone else, just rotate to a different gen. Eventually, you'll get 3 gens to pop at the same time and it's GG.

Not necessarily a survivor *main*, but Pain Resonance/Dead Man's Switch is stupid. Way too effective for how easy it is to use. It blows my mind that there's no cooldown on Scourge Hooks and unlimited charges of boons

Wraith getting singled out is now to me. Would you mind explaining why MYC is annoying against Wraith?
0 -
There is a cooldown for scourge hooks....
You have to hook someone....
5 -
Not a survivor main but killer perks that synergize together will be annoying to deal with as a survivor for eg: Ruin/ Undying, Deadman’s switch/Pain Resonance, Spirit fury/Enduring, Agitation/Starstruck, Haunted grounds/Undying,
Singlular perks: Franklins demise and lightborn

He can use it particularly well since he can quickly get away from the hook and can also quickly get back without much warning. Wraith is good at catching survivors off guard and makes it a lot easier to get the instadown by just catching someone out of position, and it’s even better if you run the new scourge hook with it.
Not calling wraith op or anything, it’s just not very fun to go against that perk on him. Normally, I like playing against him (and he’s probably my most played killer, lol).

So many perks annoy me (but that doesn't mean I think they need to be changed), like Ruin and Corrupt Intervention. But Make Your Choice. I think it's poorly designed and very frustrating with certain killers that can be on your ass in 2.5 seconds because good luck evading the killer for the massive 60 second activation.
3 -
Oh ok, lol I like playing as him and usually have MYC on him but I try to get into a chase before they are rescued but if that fails I tend to go after who I come across, a few times I run into them when chasing someone else amd take a swipe at them.

Dms and pain resonance

Do you think it would be any better if they just replaced the scream with showing the survivor’s aura for a few seconds instead? This way you’re not letting go of the gen and wouldn’t auto-trigger DMS.
The combo never bothered me much since you can prevent the scream easily by just letting go before the hook, but I still see plenty of survivors not doing this and I’ll admit it’s frustrating when your teammates don’t let go/don’t understand that they need to let go, so I wouldn’t necessarily be opposed to tweaking it since it’s not initially super clear how those two perks interact with each other.
I don’t think scourge hooks need a cooldown though.

Beast of Prey, Bloodhound, Deerstalker.

Maybe. It's a ridiculous perk combo either way IMO. Letting go of the gen is time wasted since you don't know how far the hook is. And then you get back on the gen just to get chased off and proc DMS. There's a major annoyance factor there. A PGTW kick or Ruin is one thing. But there's a huge frustration element in working on a gen, having it blow up in your face, and then having it blocked in front of you. It *feels* bad.

Spirit fury and enduring combination will always be extremely annoying
1 -
Ruin and Undying.
0 -
oh another one is definitely infectious fright especially if it's a nurse
1 -
Excluding NOED makes it difficult for me to determine what perk I find the most annoying on Killers since I consider everything else to be fair game... if I had to make a choice, I would go with Tinkerer. I will always think it needs a cooldown between triggers.
It can feel a bit oppressive in some high-mobility and ranged Killers. Other than that, I appreciate seeing a variety of builds rather than seeing the exact same build over and over as it was last year where every Killer had Ruin/Undying/Tinkerer/Pop.

Fearmonger utterly destroys me
0 -
Infectious fright is annoying on nurse and I would say merciless storm is annoying the first couple times around.
0 -
And hope the RNG gods didn't place them all together on the other side of the map from where you down someone.
I feel like this combo is dying out a bit, due to the boon meta and the PR + DMS combo coming into style.
As for me, I really hate Infectious Fright.
1 -
Dying out doesn't make it less annoying to have to scour a map for two totems whilst nothing gets done.
1 -
I'm a killer main, but when I play survivor I would have to hand it to hex: plaything
0 -
True, but it seems that more often than not these days you'll have at least one teammate already scouting totems to apply boons to them, so I don't feel as bothered by this as I used to.
0 -
If only my teammates brought Boons and not Self-Care.
2 -
Unless a player is ideologically opposed to using CoH (which I can respect), I have no idea why they would bring self care instead of it. Self Care sucks, and only helps you.
0 -
Probably because my random teammates seem to consistently have under 100 hours.
0 -
Honestly, probably bamboozle. It is just a perk that makes the one part of the game for survivors that is interactive and fun - not that.
0 -
AKA Dead Hard for killers, I personally love it.

Tinkerer

I recently started playing killer and have fallen in love with that perk. I totally understand why everyone runs it now.
1 -
Honestly just a 4 stack slowdown build. It's extremely unnecessary and most people run it with killers who are already really good without it.
0 -
Self-care and if we have to pick a killer perk I would say nurses calling
0 -
I've always hated Franklin's.
1 -
Massive slowdown perks and strong addons combined with a high tier killer like Nurse or blight (that is just miserable to go against...yeah you can still win ...but is sooooo loooong and stressful while a survivor is trying to use meme builds)
Am a main killer, but still🤐
0 -
I'm not sure if there's any perks that nessicarily annoying, as I tend to adjust my build to counter popular builds and perks. (Where my detective hunch and repressed alliance fam at???)
I do find numerous survivor perks an annoyence though, IE shudder....self care...nomither....make it stop:(

Cooldowns on scourge hooks would be so stupid since its limited to hook and only certein hooks.
