What do you think sadako needs?
I've been playing her since her release. Sucks to say she's pretty much a m1 killer who people predrop whenever you try to demanifest mindgame. Then throw coh dh and all other crap into the mix. She's so fun to play and i really enjoy her. Just wish i got more bang for my skill with her. What changes would you suggest to make her a bit better?

Not much- she's generally pretty good, she just requires a little more from the player than a killer with a more direct chase power. From my perspective, the main problem right now is her TV cooldowns; they're both a little too long, and imo they're in the wrong order. Survivors turning the TV off should be the longer cooldown so they're more incentivised to do it, and so the Condemned mechanic is spread around a little more.
With that she's genuinely pretty solid. Not top tier, but that's okay.

Yeah maybe im just in the mmr of coh and deadhard 24/7. Maybe if they weren't so common she'd be really good for me. I just find it difficult to exert enough pressure. Like i try really hard to exert as much as i can but i guess im just not fast enough.

A nerf to COH would be her biggest possible buff without massively overtuning her kit

When de manifested, she should be able to go through pallets.

A cuddle buddy. The MC of Ringu hugged Sadako and she let her take the hatch :)
Seriously though, not much. She feels mostly ok, but some of the addons feel questionable. Why is there a Burst of Speed addon? It feels horrible to ever take that off, and it's not asthoigh it's a ridiculous boost. You only really get value out of it with info perks, and even then I seem to get my hair caught on tree branches because I trip over everything coming out of TVs lmao.
Maybe they could make demanifestation slightly more useful mid chase? It's allwe got in chase. Were not a hit and run killer because we want to be necessarily, sometimes we just lack the ability to initiate chases so we hope to TP to someone with their pants down

I think a removal of her lullaby while she's demanifested should be interesting. Another big aspect which needs attention is the way Condemnation works, right now it's just a slight nuisance that doesn't even affect survivor performance. In my entire time of playing this killer I've only been able to use her built-in mori ONCE, that's just pathetic. Also the way her tvs are set up is another detriment to using her power since she's always forced to turn around to get to the objective which wastes precious time of her temporary speedup after emerging.

Just a little something in chase. I don't want anti-loop, just something to change it up. Pig's ambush is crappy, but it gives me an option of not just chasing around and around. With Sadako I try to chase demanifested, but that doesn't benefit me enough to make up for hits I miss because demanifested. Any surprise you can gain is offset because you're announcing your intentions by switching.
Passing through Sadako could increase condemnation, or a de-manifested hit that did no damage but increased condemnation by a couple. Just something to give some variety to chase.
Also ######### the lullabye. If she were powerful, I'd understand, but she's not in the same league with Huntress. She's a stealth killer, survivors have Spine Chill and comms, there's no need for it. I surprise people more with Demo.

I know what she doesn't need, and that's her power getting reworked into being anti loop.

More invisibility when manifesting and less cooldown on the TV's.

Onryo need rework demanifest , it should can through pallet and wall or add movement speed.
Condemnation should can instant down in one hit.

I think the condemned status should build in chase UNLESS they have a tape in their possession so people have more reason to get the tapes if they're going to get aggressive with the slasher.
1 -
Can i have your survivors? mine seem to be obsessed with turning them off and leaving me as a powerless killer.

Lullaby removed, Shorter cooldown on tv's, sound que that she is manifesting and demanifesting removed, tv's always face the nearest gen and do not spawn on the other side of a wall.
On the fence bout condemned building faster, but they could make it harder to remove or impossible to use a tape if sadako is hitting you at the tv....

My suggestion is that people stop playing her so much. The "New Killer" charm wore off like a WEEK ago so it's just annoying to see this killer every other match. I don't like seeing spirits, blights, nurses and onis left and right but at least i get 5 to 10 matches where I won't see one again.

-Sadako should not have a Lullaby while demanifested.
She's the only stealth Killer we currently have that has a Lullaby and also has the Undetectable Status Effect.
-Sadako should not lose speed while demanifesting.
I don't think Sadako should slow down when she turns Undetectable, as it makes her feel clunky and doesn't really serve a gameplay purpose.
She should, however keep her slowdown whenever she does exit her stealth.
-TV's should have a 24 Meter Condemn-Radius.
16 Meters is a bit little in my opinion, and 24 Meters would also fix the problem with TV's spawning in a wonky position, not allowing them to condemn Survivors.
-Projection TV cooldown should be lowered to 60 seconds.
100 seconds is too long, it's longer than a whole Generator.
-Bloody Fingernail Add-on should be base-kit.
Her current speed boost upon projecting to a TV is a bit short. Either make the Bloody Fingernail Add-on base-kit or buff the base-kit by 25% and nerf the Add-on to a 25% boost.
-Condemnation now builds up passively, 1 stack every 25 seconds, once a Survivor gets 3 stacks of Condemnation from either Projection or from turning TV's off.
This would make Condemnation more threatening if a Survivor decides to ignore it.
-Holding a Tape would increase the passive Condemnation build up by 20%.
With this change, holding a Tape while having 3 or more stacks would be extremely dangerous and would force Survivors to quickly remove the Condemnation.
-Well Stone Add-on should be buffed to 7.5 seconds.
If turning a TV off disabled it by 75 seconds, this Add-on should be buffed aswell.
-Fully condemned Survivors should be Exposed.
This would help Sadako deal with how quickly the Tape can be inserted after getting a hit.
Here are a few nerfs she could have to balance out her buffs:
-Turning off a TV's turns it off for 75 seconds.
This would make turning off a TV more practical and useful, while also making Survivors interact with the Condemnation mechanic more.
-Cabin Sign Add-on should get nerfed to 7.5 seconds.
If the Projection cooldown were to get buffed to 60 seconds, this Add-on should get nerfed aswell.
-Condemnation stacks, when carrying a Tape, should increase every 35 seconds.
With Sadako's Condemnation being more potent now that it passively build up every 25 seconds along with the range of the TV's being buffed to 24 Meters, holding a Tape earlier on shouldn't be as punishing.

She’s actually not too bad, especially compared to other Stealth killers. If she still needs a buff it probably wouldn’t need to be too major. But some possible avenues to approach it might be
- Remove her lullaby. I think she’s the only Stealth killer with a lullaby, not sure why she has it, but removing it would help her be even sneakier,
- Reduce the TV refresh timer. That allows her to teleport even more often and build up stacks on Condemned more quickly.
- Slightly increase her speed while Manifesting. Currently she moves at something like 98% survivor speed, she could probably move 100%+ survivor speed while Manifesting and it wouldn’t be broken.
- Slightly extend the amount of time she spends invisible after Manifesting. That would help her mind games at the start of a chase or at a walled tile, etc.
- Allow Condemned to build up passively on anybody within a certain distance of a TV that is on. That would further entice survivors to turn the TVs off, which also builds up their stacks.
Like I said though, I don’t know if she actually needs a buff, for all I know statistically she’s doing ok. 🤷♂️ And in my own games I’m doing decently with her.

She needs a complete rework, both to be decent and to not be falsely advertised from the material from announcement. In any case since this won't happen she's just one killer I will never be playing outside of daily challenges.

No lullaby when on invisibility and maybe better add ons.

1. I don't agree with a STEALTH killer having a lullaby.
2. She needs another means of inflicting condemned. Currently, she can only inflict it by teleporting, which is too slow for it to even be a mild nuisance to survivors. An idea is for it to build passively when within a close radius of an active tv.
3. Lower her teleport cooldown. 100 seconds is ridiculous.

The problem is that her kit has almost no synergy, and the three individual components are all lacking in isolation.
All she has going for her is sporadic, RNG traversal.
If I was going to fix her, I'd:
- Make Old Newspaper, Clump of Hair and Watch baseline. Give these addons new effects. If a brown is anywhere near your BIS addon, it should probably be baseline.
- Change Condemn completely. Make it Exposed with a longer KI, allowing the mori on the final hook (PH style). However, make it so that survivors passively gain Condemn if they are near an 'on' TV and increase the rate of gain substantially.
- Change TV spawn logic so that they aren't in/facing useless spots.
- When Sadako emerges from a TV, she gains her phasing for 5 seconds.
That should bring her up to low/mid 'B' tier.
I'd disagree with the 'pretty good' part. She's outclassed by nearly every other killer in the game in almost every single way.
Her addons suck.
Her stealth sucks.
Her traversal is decent, but extremely RNG (she's sort of a worse Demogorgon).
Her 1v1 is pathetic and her very weak secondary objective means her 1v4 isn't great either.
She needs a hefty buff to even be mid tier.

In order:
- She has quite a few decent addons, so I don't understand that point. It'd actually be closer to accurate to call her addon dependant, but it's the less-bad version of being addon dependant since she has quite a few viable ones and just suffers if you don't bring any at all; she's not old Trapper, she doesn't require a specific addon.
- She's short, has on-demand Undetectable, and is invisible like a third of the time when up close. I wouldn't necessarily say her stealth is better than any other stealth killer (except Pig's, she has better stealth than Pig, but that's not hard), but it's definitely perfectly serviceable. I'm not sure what about it is even supposed to suck, it doesn't really have a huge weakness that doesn't apply to any other form of basekit stealth?
- People keep saying her traversal is RNG and I'm not sure why- it's no more RNG than Freddy's teleport, and it's way quicker + can be used multiple times in quick succession. Comparing her to Demogorgon unfavourably is also... extremely, blatantly, obviously wrong? Her teleport is way quicker, doesn't require her to do any setup, and actually has a status effect on the survivors tied to it to boot. Demogorgon's traversal is only barely decent, it's not good by any stretch. The only thing wrong with Sadako's is that the audio cue is directional, it should be map-wide and nonspecific so you can try for some mindgames- but using it to traverse, it's the best map teleport in the game.
- Her secondary objective isn't supposed to be overpowering, it's supposed to be slowdown. I'd agree that it needs a little boost, but your proposed fix is wildly off the mark- it's not Pyramid Head's Trails, it's Pig's Reverse Bear Trap. As for her 1v1, I wouldn't call it pathetic but it's definitely not her strength; she's a stealthy traversal killer, not a direct-chase killer. With the upcoming CoH nerf and buff to the status effect I can never spell, her hit-and-run capacity will be going up too.
Sadako is not a particularly strong killer, but she's extremely far from the worst. She is a solidly okay low-B/high-C killer, and while she could use a few buffs to help her out and emphasise certain parts of her kit, people are wildly overblowing how weak she is.

- It's...tricky. There's a difference between 'good addons' as in addons that are powerful and augment a killer's kit to allow for different playstyles and addons that are essentially required for a killer to feel right. Demo and Plague would be examples of killers with good addons.
- Her size hurts her as much as it helps her. Undetectable is crap due to her lullaby. Her phasing...I barely see it make a difference when playing her or playing against her.
- Freddy is another crap killer. The problem with her TVs is that they can spawn 'near' a gen, but are actually on the floor above it, facing a wall, in an area of the map survivors barely go to. Demo, on the other hand, can site his portals wherever he wants, with the trade-off being that he needs to set up. He also gets undetectable on emerging.
- The issue is that the effect of her secondary objective is too strong to ever be made meaningful. Pig's traps aren't actually that bad a comparison - and that's another mechanic that just doesn't work, because RNG instakills aren't fun for anyone.
I'd absolutely disagree with her being a 'B' tier killer, considering that would put her in direct competition with Demo, PH and the like.
I'd stick her at the butt-end of 'C', around Freddy's level. She's definitely worse than Wraith when you factor in his addons, and I don't think anyone would put Wraith in 'B' tier.

I’d put her in D tier

Possibly. She isn't as bad as Trapper. I'd probably put her about on par with Freddy.
