Ah yes; Killers trying to win is out of control! Survivors NEED a free perk that makes it harder for the Killer to win!
I sometimes forget there's people who can't understand that the Killer player is trying to win, and is not an employee that exists to make Survivors happy.

Why should Survivors get a perk for free?
I mean, they already get 30 free perks by using Discord. But Killers getting ONE is just horrid! Horrid, I tell you!
Still seems that Survivors complaining about 'camping', 'tunneling', and 'slugging' are simply saying 'Killers should not be allowed to win if they break my made up rules. BHVR; please enforce my made up rules! Think of MY fun!'
Killers: What about our fun? These ideas are abuse-able!

I don't play swf 24/7 either, I'm just not excusing my laziness. Even if, my "swf" is 2 newbies learning the game and a killer main. We throw the games more than we win them.
I'll cleanse 4-5 totems per game if i'll get a chance too, but in red ranks thankfully it's common for me to see other people touching the bones.
It's not that hard to memorize totems spawns if you play on the same maps for like 100 times.
I fully understand if you can't find a totem when you're new, but god damn it, leave the excuses in your head if you're an experienced player.
I recently got a friend into dbd, she can't do skillchecks for her life, but she already remembered totem spawns in like 4 maps, when she has like 10h overall in game.

Have basekit BT include no collision detection for the base kit version while BT is active.
Make the 200% gen regression on kicking base kit for killers.
Keep the good skill check notifications for Call of Brine but change the colour to white and have Surveillance colour coding take priority.

Just to mix it up, I'm going to say either a weaker form of Call of Brine (faster base regression speed from specifically kicking gens).
and Overcharge (to more effectively challenge survivors who gen-tap to stop regression).

This one is easy. NOED. Will force Totems regardless and gens will in turn, go slower overall. My 2nd choice would be Corrupt Intervention. Seems futile to run any Killer without it in hopes of killing as many Survivors as you can.

Except that to "gen rush" You need items/perks. At base it isn't "gen rush"
Killers have this playstyle available (basekit) every match. It isn't a perk or an item they have to slot. Nice try tho.

It absolutely is gen rush already, you just have 4 survivors that amplify the stuffing out of gens, 2 minutes is nothing when you got 3 other people on different gens

I'd say pop, maybe with reduced numbers. It would be a good way to encourage killers to leave hook.

None, I'd rather have changes in the actual mechanics of the game that solve the issues it has. This game needs to address its overall health rather than trying to patch these problems as they come through instead of addressing the reason they happen to begin with.

Crouching/teabagging for all killers. Give Ghostface and pig an unlimited flashlight to compensate and let them blind hooked survivors

Otz plays to the situation. If he feels he needs to play a bit scummy to stay in the match he does it. If he doesn't, then he plays in a nicer fashion. The argument you keep hearing is playing scummy is the only way to compete now. Which is just not the case.
@topic I can't see BT being made basekit. However, if they did make it or something akin to it basekit I'd like to see killers get Whispers. I think it's a great perk that could really be a help to alot of killers.

I don't think just because BT becomes basekit killers should get a free perk as well. The reasoning with BT is to make killers play fair and decentivize tunneling. It doesn't consistently impact the game in a significant way. Where as something like Lethal, Corrupt, Pop, all do. I do understand that having some early game help would be nice. But for killers who already have game-knowledge (i.e survivor spawns, map layouts) and strong builds/abilities it just makes them even more oppressive.
TL;DR most killer perks would offer too much of a benefit and negatively effect game health, while BT only discourages tunneling and gives the unhooked survivor a chance to defend themselves against it.

I'd honesty believe basekit BT and kindred (survivor aura only) would be best bet.
Killer definitely whispers at a longer range. And ffs make kicking gens mean something. Possibly corrupt as well.
But I believe they need to make the survivor promote team play more.

You can't tell whether it's gonna be a tough game or not. Usually every match with SWF is, which is why they should show all SWF in lobby at the very least.
If you hold yourself back, you might realise it's not such a friendly match after all, and it'll be too late. It's safer to assume every game will be the worst sweat fest possible and play accordingly.
If the make BT basekit for free they might as well shut the servers down lol

Proxy camping has always, and will always be a part of the game. It's literally built into the design of iillwrs like the Hag. Don't like camping? Play something else.

A toned down Pop like make kicking reduce progress by ten percent. This gives kicking some actual value and pressures survivors to consider going for another generator instead of just taping them

If bt was base kit it would only be like a 5 second endurance timer I would think. It's just to stop insta tunneling. It isn't that strong if you don't tunnel. So saying corrupt base kit aswell is ridiculous imo.
I've said this on a post before but fire up base kit for killers would be the most underrated killer buff ever, but so so effective. People would never see it coming

Because your reasoning is…you camp because 2-3 gens pop? Makes logical sense. Good for you. Not everyone needs to do it, hence why I said it is a sign of a bad killer, for over committing to the same survivor. (I.E. skill)
It also still doesn’t address how broken of a playstyle it is, and that you don’t have to wait for gens to pop to do it.

No, a mechanic designed to prevent infinite loops does not equal a free perk for Survivors.
Guess what I think, using that logic? Killers should get a free perk, but Survivors should not.
Reason? Discord communication. It gives Survivors 30 free information perks.

A lot of the times he plays fair the first 4 hooks after that the bets are off and he hooks whatever. Which to me is fine. I'm not against tunneling when its needed. If the gens are flying there just isnt enough time to be nice about it.
Played some killer yesterday and i did some testing. I played how i normally would play which is fair and nice and yeah if the survivors were altruistic or potatoes i got 3-4 k easily playing nice, but if i got competent or SWF survivors i had no chance of getting more than 1k. I did few games where i played a little nastily and i got way easier 2-4ks that i would get while spreading the hooks nicely. So i understand if killers don't want to be fair but i personally don't undertand heavy tunneling at 5 gens at all.

That's what the majority of killers claim is needed to stand a chance. It used to be if you thought about it as a survivor you could see why they started to tunnel in a game. Now it's just the automatic strategy.

Otz has already proven that every single killer can play perkless and wait 30 seconds before beginning the game and still get a 4k.
I like that people point out that Otz sometimes plays scummy to get a 4k but doesn't have to most of the time. Doesn't that mean that Otz isn't playing at the top of his game and is still doing fine.
The reason people call it scummy is because the other side doesn't always have methods to counter it. No everyone equips Decisive Strike and Borrowed Time every game. Decisive Strike and Borrowed Time are behind paywalls, either actually cash for Decisive Strike or Bloodpoints for Borrowed Time, so new players don't even have counters to scummy play.

Cause some perks that are used frequently on survivor are band aid fixes for horrible game flaws. Killers dont have anything like that. So it makes no sense to give killers something for free just because there are needs on the other side.

It makes perfect sense, because nothing is done in a vacuum.
You give Survivors a free perk on top of their 4 second chance perks per match (for 16 second chances), plus those who use Discord, and you're literally made Killer unplayable.
