Favorite Killers to Use "Save the Best for Last"?
What are your favorite killers where you include "Save the Best for Last" in your build?
My favorites are:
Demogorgon
Deathslinger
Nemesis
Pyramid Head
Clown (although gets less use out of it since he has no alternate attacks)
Do you notice a significant increase in performance when using it, or a dip in performance when you take it off?
And how necessary do you consider it for your builds?
Thanks!

Nurse

I like using it on Legion because FF'ing the obession doens't cost you a stack; plus it helps a little with chases.

Demogorgon, definitely. With his Shred being so powerful, there might not be a killer who utilizes STBFL as well.
For me, Nemesis is my 2nd favorite to use the perk on. I run it on Deathslinger, but I'm a mediocre shot at best, so I don't think I get the value out of it I'd like.
It's a guilty pleasure perk for me fir certain. I definitely feel the difference playing with it vs. without it.

Pinhead
Chaining and then smacking survivors with super quick recovery makes holding W really difficult when I can chain again shortly afterwards
7 -
I've been using on Michael since I don't have much else on him because I just prestiged, and it's surprisingly good on him

All and any M1 killers.

Almost everyone, it works well for hook trading and dealing with the 10 million SWF body blocks per game. Speeds up chases too, less swing animation downtime.

pig if you have 8 stacks you can almost chain ambush attack

This thread will get it nerfed within the next 6 months

I enjoy using it on just about anyone who's capable of preserving stacks. Demo, Deathslinger, and Nemesis are obvious picks.
Pig, Trapper, Pyramid Head, and Artist can also get some decent value out of it.
And it's a wildcard on Bubba and Billy.

Trapper is my favorite to use it on

Personally as a pig main, I love it on pig every now and then, as the ambush doesn’t take a stack when hitting the obsession, It’s hard to only ambush the obsession but it can be rewarding at 8 stacks!
but any killer that can injure without hitting with an M1 it’s pretty solid on.
Nemisis, Demogorgan, Deathslinger, Twins, Artist, Blight (his rushes don’t count as a basic M1 Attack), even ranged killers like Huntress & Trickster I could imagine it wouldn’t be too bad on.

Stbfl is actually very good on clown imo. You want to use flask of bleach with it and after you've built a bunch of stacks you can greatly minimize the distance that the survivors get when you hit them. Even still...idk what Bhvr was thinking nerfing the add-on. Just why?

I use it on:
Spirit, Hag and Nurse

Unpopular opinion:
I LOVE STBFL on Pyramid Head - I always have and always will (nerf pending, that is). It allows for much for flexibility with him, and you can use M2 to save your stacks when you need to injure the obsession.
I guess now I love STBFL on Onryo, too, since the perk can massively help with ending chases (especially spicy for when you want to take advantage of a fully cursed survivor for the mori.)
God, STBFL is good on just about ANY killer in my eyes. When used effectively it just makes any killer absolutely menacing.

I didn't think that was an unpopular opinion. I agree on Pyramid Head completely. Since I avoid getting hook-specific perks (Pop, BBQ, etc.) since they don't work if you cage someone, I usually go for other perks like Ruin, I'm All Ears, and STBFL.

I play a lot of Pinhead and haven't ever really tried STBFL on him. That's a good point about chaining and then getting another hit. I'll have to give it a shot. Thanks.

How does it work on Nurse?
Doesn't she get fatigued after each hit?
0 -
I figured they might get a normal hit then it will allow them to get a faster follow-up blink hit. But maybe I'm wrong.

clown
you can hit someone and quickly throw a bottle at them to catch up super quickly, pairing it with brutal strength makes it even easier to catch up
2 -
You might be surprised, but people really don't expect it on Huntress. 🤣
1 -
demo. it makes basement proxy camping with leprose lichen so nasty.
1 -
Huh, interesting. Do you find it is worth bringing on your build versus other perks? Or is it just kind of a fun perk to try out once in a while?
0 -
Well, my situation might be a bit unique. My Huntress doesn't have the greatest selection of perks. She's just been leveled to 50 and that's it (and this was who knows how long ago). I haven't spent all the offerings I want to on her yet before prestiging her. So STBFL tier III is actually one of my better perks available to her. But I don't usually run it. Maybe if my aim is really off or something, haha!

Pig, Spirit, Sadako, Hag, Plague, and Artist.

I used to be relucant in using it on my Deathslinger, but after trying it a few months back (prior to his unnecessary nerf), I learned to find it useful.
I currently feel like I need it because I keep getting Survivors swarm me whenever I down someone and bodyblock the hook. I don't know why that is that most of my matches are like that lately.
1 -
No it doesn't effect her fatigue at all... unless you are running fatigue shortening addons
1 -
What use is STBFL on Nurse then?
2 -
Cause sometimes you don't have to blink to get a hit
1 -
The only odd one here is Plague. Why do you like it on Plague? Infect, quick hit, let 'em run off and you go somewhere else?
1 -
Did no one seriously try it on wraith?
0 -
I haven't tried it. Wraith is more about hit + run strategies, so it's probably why people don't use it often on him. But he's an M1 killer and could still benefit from it.
