Just faced a hacker
I loaded into a match as Sadako and immediately one gen popped. I DC'd because I am not dealing with hackers. Now I have to wait 6 hours just because I had a hacker in my game. Yay, this game is perfect. 😑

No the hackers are to blame because I wouldn't have had to DC if they didn't exist in the first place. People just wants to ruin other's days.
And for the record, I was having issues with the game beforehand so... Yeah.

If i see a hacker, i DC aswell.
I get a 5 minute penalty for it and have no problems with that.

Its the spaghetti code.
The simplest way I can explain to you that dbd almost entirely client sided, next to nothing on server side. What does it mean?
It means that client is the king, there are no server validation for almost anything.
As a client you can tell the game, "now I am flying or run at 500% speed, or do the gen with one tap", in every other game would be a server check, " is it possible, is it valid action" , and the game wouldn't let it happen. There are no such checks in dbd, dbd is the exception, whatever the hacker tell the game it will accept it without question. There you have it, this is how hatchet ghostface was possible and might be still.
This is why dbd so weak to cheaters. No anti cheat can protect this spaghetti code.

So you have dc´ed a lot not facing hackers. Yeah, killers and survviors do that, so what news are we talking about?

6 hours means you have dc'd consecutively and I know you have not faced hackers every match so you only have yourself to blame

Not the point of this post. Point being that hackers are just really annoying to face and they shouldn't be in the game.
And as I said before, I was having issues with the game before the whole hacker game, so that's why I have to wait so long. Not complaining about my wait time, just about the hackers that ruin the game.

Was having issues with personal matters IRL and in game issues before the whole hacker thing happened. I could care less about how long I have to wait because I'm not dealing with hackers and I'm getting super burnt out from the game anyway. But everyone is focusing on that point when that isn't the point.
The whole point is that hackers shouldn't be in this game, yet they continue to get away with this stuff. Meanwhile players get punished for having hackers in their game. Even if I had to wait only 5 minutes I would still be complaining about it because players shouldn't be punished for things outside of their control (hackers). I just find it stupid that players get punished for having hackers in their game and the hackers get away with no repercussions whatsoever.

if you want sympathy, you wont find it here. 6 hour shadow ban means youve been dcing consistently. Having a hacker on your last match, yeah that sucks. But you still dc'ed before hand, enough so that you racked up a high enough wait time. Thats all on you dude. maybe don't dc as often and youd get a bit more understanding. Until then, sucks to suck
