Do teammates just not commit to the final gen anymore
The amount of games I've lost because a teammate doesn't commit to the final gen at like 97%

yeah it’s frustrating, I mean like we would’ve popped this gen...

Forget the final gen; some teammates won't commit to any gen that's almost done as the killer's coming. Like, while healthy and not a one-hit down killer. The entire game can be lost for survivors over decisions like this.

I wish teammates knew what gens were. Most of mine are either hiding or chasing the killer with a flashlight.

yep it's painful

You are lucky if they commit to the first gen anymore.
Although, I will counter with the countless times I committed to the last genny, only to be downed with noed a second later.
After dealing with Ruin then Pop all game.

yep it's annoying

Survivor skill level is NOT at an all-time high, that's for sure. Everyone's great at using Boons and meta perks, but I see such dumb ######### in game.
2 -
Boons and meta perks won't make you a good survivor, nor eliminate the mistakes for more then a few seconds, of mediocre survivor play.
Please stop regurgitating this stale argument. Boons and meta are only op on OP survivors. ######### survivors will be hooked 3 seconds after they DH towards a boon.

Thank God it's not only me. Although sorry you are dealing with this too.
######### is up with these teammates. And how can killers and solo q be experiencing such vastly different survivors?

I was saying that survivors mostly aren't good, and yes perks will. When DS gets you out of the gate, it's not a skilled play, it's pressing E and escaping. That's not 3 seconds of second chance, that's winning by perk. You don't think healing is ten seconds helps mediocre survivors? Maybe you don't understand words.
And I'll regurgitate whatever I want. You do you, but I say what I want to say. I don't want your approval.

Also from the Killers point of view... sometimes we (I) want the game over with
And I don't run NOED, BW, NWO so... yea

Fair enough.
I don't think anything in DBD really requires skill. It's very repetitive.
Sure quick heals help, but its not going to make a difference if a survivor can't make it there, nor last more then 20 seconds in chase fully healed with DH.
And I love the moxie in your reply. I also speak with a bit of an edge, and don't mind getting it in return.

Maybe they were just saving you the last slice of the pizza (gen)!
(I know it sucks)

It really depends. If I'm in solo q, I'll hop off the gen at 95% to get to a door to start opening it immediately. In terms of time efficiency and the smart play, letting someone finish the last 5% to give me time to get to a door and open it or 99 it as soon as the gen pops.
Now yes, if there's only two survivors left, it'd probably be smarter to crank out the gen first in some instances.
But if there's 4 survivors and I'm solo, I'm not gonna trust teammates enough to be on the exit Gates as the last gen pops.

I apologize for snapping, I never grew out of the "don't tell me what to do" phase. You're a good guy for being cool about it instead of making us both argue and lose the point.
But when everyone keeps pointing out the same thing, it's not always repetition, sometimes it's just true.
Circle of Healing virtually eliminated an entire playstyle. Survivors already bring 16 perks, if each brings 3 meta and a boon, that's 28 perks. That alone is OP, before we consider that CoH negates the pressure from the killer's basic mechanic. Wounds used to slow survivors down, now it doesn't. I feel like that benefits all survivors.

I think the killers who come on here to complain about survivors are at high MMR and are always matched up against good swf who abuse the meta and maps. I'm bad, so I think I'm in mid-mmr and get the whole mix of people who don't know how to play or are tired of sweating and looping and get off on flashlight saving instead of doing objectives.

They don't do anything anymore.

I certainly see your point.
And I probably over simplified my argument. Thanks for the discussion. Hope you have a great day
