Are purple glyphs bugged?
I went around the web and chose other challenges cause i couldn't see any purple glyphs, i found the red ones and the white ones, i finished the challenges and i selected the purple one again and im not seeing any after running through the whole map. Am I just being super unlucky and getting them in super hidden places?

The purple ones are only for killers, have you tried to find them as survivor?
as killer you see their aura after hooking someone. But they are constantly moving and leaving a short trail of purple puddles on the ground

i edited the answer with more info. Also it’s easy to miss the text that says it’s a killer glyph - especially considering it’s the only killer specific glyph

Sometimes I follow the glyph trail and wait where it stops and it just doesn't appear. I even check to see if the trail continues like it does a lot of times but it doesn't when this happens.

The trail doesn’t stop… are you sure you haven’t chosen the wrong direction and went to the side of the trail that the glyph came from?
otherwise you should definitely make a clip of that and create a bug report!

I wish I could but I have enough problems just running the game on my laptop with the crashes I already experience (trying to stream it would probably cause massive problems).
I know it happened a bunch of times to me. I follow it, then the trail pauses and I look to see if it continues in another direction and I just don't see it continue. It's possible that with the low res & missing frames that I miss it sometimes, but I don't know. I wish it was easier to see because even when I do successfully close the glyph it's usually not easy to see and pretty easy to miss. With all the other things the killer has to do in a match, you'd think they'd make following it a bit easier considering the valuable chase & gen damaging time you lose following the slow trail.
