They are just reskin, and no new survivor perk made into meta for years now(outside of CoH)

    Fun. If you really like the teachables one has or an aesthetic then that's your motivation. Otherwise, just fun.

    One thing I like about this game is you can play base game characters/perks and that's all you need to have a full experience. Everything else is just flavor.

    No, there is no point in most as they are obviously just skins with nominal to outright useless perks. I still only run the classics when I play survivor as the OG perks (DH, BT, IW, Windows, Adrenaline, SB etc) are still the top perks all these years later. COH is probably the only stupidly OP perk in recent times imo

    If you like the look of a survivor our you want to use a quirky perk they have for the sake of it then sure go ahead, it is your money so spend it how you want. But we will rarely if ever see more meta perks like the OG perks, as the impact they have and unforeseen consequences create a lot of work and headaches for the devs I would say, so I imagine they are keen to avoid that

    That aside the new survivors have diffrent sound effects and/or models (like jeff and jane). They bring an oportunity for new cosmetics (where here you can argue that "they are just reskins")

    But most of all new survivors are an opportunity to add 3 new perks to the game. It was always this way and I don't think it will change. (Imagine behaviour just realeasing perk packs PepeLaugh).

    No new survivor perks made it into the meta ? Well #########, balancing is hard. And the game is still viewed by man as casual, so f the meta.

    Just because u dont see a meta with new perks doesnt mean they dont run them, I do run 2 recent perks out of 4. If killers keep getting new perks and characters then the logical thing is to give survivor also new perks and characters even if "they are just skins" it even makes MORE sense to keep giving survivor skins being them the only ones that can ACTUALLY SEE THE SKIN THEY ARE WEARING lol
