Resurgence and the new hemorrhage
This will affect resurgence perk? Just curious
Comments

Probably since it does count as heal progress so unless you heal right after being unhooked you will lose that progress within 7.14 seconds

I doubt that's gonna drive up sales of the RE chapter then. But that cow has already been milked to death probably.
7 -
Yeah pretty sure it would affect resurgence as well as solidarity.

Two more worthless perks made even weaker
9 -
I guess there's no more 99% Resilience either. Must have been OP 🤣

Yea... it's safe to say that Sloppy Butcher is going to be used more often now
4 -
Use better perks then.

Ahh yes, and keep the vicious circle of boring and uninteractive meta perks going, so much fun!

Sloppy butcher and addons which inflicted both hemorrhage and mangled are a lot better now. Like blind warrior on wraith was already decent just for the healing slowdown, but now it has two useful effects instead of just one. Same with begrimed head.
This also makes gift of pain quite a bit better too as the main issue it had was being able to heal to 99% if you had a medkit (like you would with resilience), then doing gens without the debuff until the killer showed up. Now you won't be able to do that anymore.

I don't see the issue with losing progress... either heal or don't
Yea it takes "techs" away but Survivors will find something to do about that... especially with COH being a thing

Never said it was an issue. I think this is a good change.

Ok then.... Kinda was confusing to say the least

Ah, I see where you got confused now, my bad. I meant that the problem with gift of pain was that it was too easy to counter by 99ing. The hemorrhage rework fixes that which is good.

I also think that this change is a good change. The Resilience "tech" was stupid because it had 0 risk high reward and gen speeds don't need to be buffed like that. Besides that, I barely saw Resurgence or Solidarity being used anyway, so not much of a problem. I'd rather say, if Hemorrhage finds its way into the game with this buff, then address those 2 perks with the next midchapter patch. I would like something like gathering stacks over time (by healing others or staying injured) and get a bonus per stack in any way

Yea... Ok
It's fine

Yep. I mean realistically what is the point in using Resurgence now? If a killer returns to the hook or has inflicted haemorrhage on the survivor then Resurgence will be useless.
Second Wind will be OK to use but even then, BT and DS will be safer options overall.

Yeah that would be an interaction. But, hemorrhage's big association is with Sloppy Butcher, and if you were hit by a basic attack, it wouldn't matter anyway.
(wait, i might be wrong actually. Doesn't it clear status effects after you're hooked and rescued? Or is that only Exhaustion?)
It's unlikely that you'd run into one of Freddy's dream snares while they're using the specific addon, or a killer just happens to be using Blood Echo. So all in all, it should be barely noticeable.

Resurgence: added effect - you are immune to Hemorrhage for 30 seconds after unhook
Solidarity: added effect - you are immune to Hemorrhage while healing another survivor and for 10 seconds after you stop healing them
Boom, problem solved
3 -
Only exhaustion is reset.
It's 7% every second. Sloppy specifically will also be buffed so it's more in the 8% range.

I find resurgence pretty useful, it's like everyone that unhooks you gets we'll make it
