Please can we get any info on animations? its been 3 YEARS....3 and nothing
can anyone give me anything here??? I'm feeling so drained from this, I've waited 3 YEARS to enjoy the animations again and nothing..no news on anything anyone..? please
SURVIVOR LOCOMOTION
We are also reviewing feedback for the new Survivor animations. While the movement itself hasn’t changed, new animations and transitions can make your character feel different to control. We want this transition to be as smooth as possible, so we are looking into the following:
- Removing camera position changes
- Fixing some animation bugs
- Reviewing turning animation to better reflect the old animations [they haven't done or said anything about this for 3 YEARS......]
We are tentatively planning to address some of these issues starting alongside the ""next Chapter"". Please note that this is by no means a comprehensive list and we are still actively discussing feedback, including possible causes for motion sickness.
Its been MANY chapters and nothing.
I come back to update this every few chapter's........this sucks so much

Gunna be real, I'm on the same boat. New animations never grew on me, they just look so bad. Not the biggest of deals, but looking at survivors now looks weird.

no I liked the new animations, but only when they just came out, the had realism and transitions and it made it look good, but now they look worse then ever being completely broken

They did fix crouching animations so atleast there's progress...? Very VERY slow tho.

they "kinda" did it still looks stiff compared to what it once was 4 months ago sadly

Welp its been "NINE" entire months..................................that's completely insane I honestly cant believe its been that long without any work on the animations, I even took a four month hiatus from dbd so I could be surprised with something good but as per usual............ Immeasurable disappointment

I feel so utterly depressed every single time I come back to see nothing done...like when moding was in dbd the moders did this $h1t WAAAAAAAAAY faster....I was even working with a guy to fix heather... "AND WE DID" she looked so good but then......"poof"...... gone..... but hackers are still rampant....and now MMR

Yea they never followed up on fixing the animations. They just ripped out the movement transitions (I actually liked those) and left us with the weird looking idle and injured running that were heavily complained about.
Turning 180 degrees sometimes causes the survivor to snap turn with no animation. It's hard to describe but you'll notice it if you play survivor for a few matches.
Still can't look up or down while crouched or running.

ya I know, this all sucks....If the animations aren't fixed by the next major update or if there is no new newa on the issue I think im going to permanently quit DBD, way to much disappointment to carry on anymore......

13......13 god damn months...why do I still even care......WELP AT LEAST VHS IS COMPITENT AND LOOKS GOOD AND IS FUN, TIME TO FINNALY GIVE UP ON BEHAVIOR TO EVER FOLLOW THROUGH WITH ANYTHING THEY SAY
