Can you hit a survivor taking shelter inside your killer model?

Legit question. More and more survivors are just running inside my killer after i hit them and sitting there until i look away from where they want to go. This allows them to get the benefit of some insane scratch and blood delay (sneaky shadow nerf about a year ago)

I have tried to hit them and it just air swings and then i hear them run off. Even if i see the top of their head or a part of them show on my screen while looking down.

if they're positioned slightl behind your model then no. But if they're in the direct center/more near your camera and you look down and swing will make you hit them.

Survivor movement is really kinda ridiculous with "fov tech" and 360s but they can't change anything to deal with survivor movement or taking advantage of fov for survivors. If you remember when the animations toned down 360s for a week when the new running animations came out boy did the complaints flow about how the gain was ruined. It's kinda funny playing Hillbilly and the safest spot from a chainsaw is running straight into it.

If I know they're in my body, I just swing in place and down them.
