remember the original legion concept, where they could impersonate survivors?

it was obviously scrapped because you could tell no one in your lobby looked like that.

but what about a killer who takes the appeareance of a survivor supernaturally? as in, he literally looks like that survivor -cosmetics and all- transforming himself with m2 like wrait's stealth?

i feel like you could do pretty cool things with it. perhaps even unlock 3rd person view and survivor actions but with different outcomes, for example: you work with another survivor on a gen and after 5 seconds a difficult skillcheck appears to them, with the same effect as pop if they fail it.

or, impersonate an injured survivor, and if someone tries to heal you they get exposed and you unmask immediatly.

i feel like it would bring new elements to the game, as in survivors not trusting eachother or when doing so, taking a risk. it would be realistic, lore speaking. i don't think survivors would just collaborate that easily. a normal looking person could very much be a killer in the entitiy's realm. trickster, legion, pig, etc... all look like normal humans.

would it work? would it be healthy? what would a mechanic like this need to be implemented correctly, and also, how could it function against a 4sfw? even though those seem to be an ingrained problem regardless of the topic.
