Nah it aint gonna matter, because all killers do is tunnel and camp anyway. Can't win without it so honestly no it doesn't matter and it wont allow for any wins, at least for me because all of my survivor games are solo q so I think Ive done a pretty good job at staying alive and being able to actually pip with how horrible the killers have been playing.

I still wish for a simple change that I think would make it far more bearable for people; when that last gen goes off, the exposure status appears on survivors screens.
Maybe that would ultimately ruin it (since the Surprise Fother Mucker factor is a big part of why you can snowball so easily with it) but that feels like it would make the perk a bit more fair.

The only type of "fair" that you're going to get with noed is to get totems, thats it. Once its popped the killer is going to try to hook the survivor next to the totem so that if you find it you either get slugged or hooked. the killer isn't going to take the chances

I'd rather the developers would fix face-camping from gen 5 and tunneling-off-hook-till-dead from gen 5.
But I guess they're more worried that survivors have gotten a perk that changed their meta after 4 years of worthless perks. Literally the last meta changing perk survivors got was Windows of Opportunity, which was 4 years go.

If the killer decides to guard the totem, there are then gates to open.
Right now the survivors don't attempt to avoid the killer at the end game (if they're healthy) because they don't realize NOED is in play. They're going to be way more cautious and have to make a choice to try to find the totem or try to open the gate if they know NOED is in play right away.
Personally I think NOED is fine the way it is but if I HAD to make a change, I think that would be the most interesting way to change it with how it would change survivors behavior in EGC time.

If NOED frustrates you, no nerf is going to stop it from frustrating you. It's already a bad, underwhelming, inconsistent, extremely flimsy perk that has the most counterplay of any perk in the game.
A full rework to make it more consistently useful for all killers in more matches could be a good idea, but it simply doesn't warrant a nerf. It's not even good, let alone overpowered.

Two years ago I was a "just do bones" argument guy, but after thinking about NOED I finally realized that that perk is unfair a lot of times, even with totem tracking perks require too much effort to cleanse/boon the 5 totems and if you're playing solo you can waste an huge amount of time for preventing a perk which maybe the killer don't have equiped.
It needs a rework, it's an outdated 2016 perk, I almost never use NOED and I consider it a good trade for the CoH nerf and future Dead Hard nerf.

I have no problems with noed either, i personally don't have a problem with ANY of the killer perks, the thing that I have problems with is the face camping and the tunneling at 5 gens just because they can. Its not fun to play against at all. when I play killer (low mmr) I don't tunnel or camp and if I don't get any kills so be it, But im not gonna sink to the level that I hate just to be like ya I won, I won't do it. It needs fixed

You basically gave away how much you don't play killer if you're still at low mmr. I tunnel and camp if the opportunity arises whenever if they make stupid plays. (They keep trying to bumrush hooks and they don't bother to bring borrowed or take hits.) I'll do it at all costs once it gets down to the wire.

I play the game to have fun, Not ruin for other people lol. I just had a match with 4 iri 3 survivors, I didn't have to tunnel or camp and I still got 3 of the 4 kills and got a mericless at the end of the game.
So honestly, Idk what the issue is, and thats me being like ash 2, I know not every game is going to be like that Ive been playing the game for 4 years, Ive played killer a bunch just not lately, Ive got the rank1 killer trophy on steam. But for me its all about having fun thats it.

People asking for NOED nerfs don't realize that without NOED, the kill rates would be far lower. Up to a point where killers are in for some heavy buffs.
Remember that with NOED, the kill rates are slightly below 50%.

And that I understand, and I fully agree, what I don't agree with is killers who feel the need to camp and tunnel right from the start. Not even one gen done yet and dudes staring deeply into my eyes like he wants to eat my liver or something, that is the type of stuff that needs to go, or the fact that If I get unhooked (i have bt) they hit me with fellow survivors trying to take hits ect and they won't do it and just go straight after me until Im dead, thats the type of stuff that needs changed, I mean if they are planning on changing perks that are helpful to SOLO Q survivors then I think they need to come up with ways to punish killers (further more than losing some bp) for tunneling and camping. I solo q my survivor games 95-98% of the time, and lemme just say, it SUCKS.

Doubt they are gonna touch noed as it's a factor that helps keeps the 2k kill ratio steady.
I don't see it often but it usually gets them 1k while the rest of us leave.

Honestly, i wouldn't mind the speed boost going away, not that its useful since everyone just runs dead hard these days
but still its a bit helpful in some cases

How about this? We keep the speed boost, but every time the killer gets a down they are stuck for a few seconds while they laugh maniacally over the downed Survivor before picking them up. I don't know if it'll add balance or not, but I do know it would be really funny.

And this is good thing. It is like campers & tunnellers. People are using this strategies and boosting kill rates. I wish people would play just normal and BHVR finally would see killers have not even enough hooks.

tunneling and camping are legit strats what do you mean play normal. Killers are there to kill just like survivors are there to survive should body blocking the killer be abnormal game play for survivors?

Let me picture for you:
You are Myers. You are hard tunnelling and this boosts kills for you. Fair. But then you are facing with stronger survivors. And they are destroying you. At end game you had 2 or 3 hooks. Because Myers is weak.
And then BHVR is looking their data. They are seeing you had more wins with Myers. But they did not look you camped and tunnelled survivors. So Myers needed buffs but he did not get anything because of his kill rates.
Ofcourse i am not judging people because they camped or tunnelled but this just boosts kill rates, weak killers looks like god.

noed shouldnt affect survivors who cleansed dull totems. emphasis on dull. cuz if there are hex totems in play, they're already forced to break them, which, depending on what hex it is, would be something the killer won't want.
Either that, or make the exposed effect apply AFTER the exit gates are opened. This'll put the perk at an equal level to No One Left Behind. Haste can be buffed to 6%-8% or something so the killer is still threatening without the exposed.
The way it is now is not fair at all, especially if the killer is either good at applying pressure, with or without 3 gen slowdown perks, or they are camping/tunneling at 5 gens. Which forces survivors to grind gens. Or scenarios where a survivor cleansed 3-4 totems, But the last totem wasn't found, so THEY alone get hit with noed.
I personally would buff the haste, make exposed apply after gates are open, and block the exit for survivors who did not cleanse a dull totem for 60-90 seconds.

They can make a new Status Effect that prevents survivors from exiting gates, so its not just "the gate is blocked for them", that can add more variety to other perks/add-ons/powers. Like Rancor, Bloodwarden (would apply the effect on everyone), NOED (obviously), Victor, Pinhead's chains [yes I know these 2 already block people from exiting, I just wanted this effect to be applied to them so it's easier for people to understand why they cannot escape while they have Victor/chains], Freddy's black box add-on, they can make an add-on for Artist that applies this effect to swarmed survivors, fully infected survivors (Plague), marked survivors (Ghost Face), add-on for inactive RBT's etc.
This effect would only appear on the HUD during end game collapse so as to not reveal the killers' build too early.

Noed is fine in its current state. If the majority of maps were fair then I would go ahead and say change it in some way.

Noed is only a problem if killer tunnel and camp. I play Trapper without tunnel/camp and Noed is surprisingly weak.
Nerf Noed just make a perk unappealing to use, but tunnel/camp still exist.
I prefer to die to Noed with 18k BP than rushing gen vs tunnel/camp and escape with 8k.

NOED is pretty weak overall. It makes you play with 3 perks until the last gen pops, has lots of counterplay, and only gives more than one kill (which you would have gotte with 4 perks anyways) unless the survivors play into it. More or less.
