Increase in DC’s
I haven’t played for a little while, jumped back on today and every game but 1 has had at least 1 survivor DC and or survivors kill themselves on first hook near enough at the beginning of the game with maybe 1 gen done.
I can’t get an enjoyable game. The killers aren’t even camping or tunnelling. Are people just intentionally throwing for lower sbmm lobbies? Is anyone else experiencing this?

I’ve been getting a lot of DC’s too.

So it isnt due to sbmm, I believe. If the killers arent camping or tunneling, you just seemed to have bad luck with survivors who get upset when they get downed. I have encountered a few that probably would have beat me but they left cause I downed them once.

Sadly there is a bunch of survs that dc when they get down first. It's like the game is lost when they dont get a 3 gen loop befor first hit

Honestly it feels more like if I get chased for 3gens and then downed the game is lost cause like 90% chance the killer Face-camps with a 10% chance of Proxy camping. I don't bother dcing cause I'll hang out with you till the other three are done gens and leave. I just will always ask for the ability to kick the killer in the face if they are face-camping. Kicking the killer does not do anything to the killer and is an animation but its better then me flapping like a bird.

Sure sadly that's how it is atm. I mean i get why the killer thinks that but it's partly his fault for committing to long and how terrible the maps are.

That would look pretty funny. Be an indicator for your teammates to actually do gens. The amount of times I have been face camped and the other survivors are just crouching around the map or in the basement is painful. But then again I only play solo q so expect pain

It's probably for April Fool's.

Yes and no. Yes the killer committed to me but if the killer caught me off guard and hit me if they let me go I will be healed for sure. They may be able to push another off a gen but if I am in the area I am taking that gen. The biggest problem is the speed at which we survivors can complete gens. Even with out using tool boxes and having three survivors doing separate gens while one is chased we should get 3 done before the first hook if the one being chased is competent are looping. Big maps are 90% of killers down fall and even small maps can be hard with even lower mobility killers. Balance needs to be struck because the more camping and tunneling a killer does the more survivors are going to dc/kill on first because why bother playing a losing game.

Yeah I was talking about being in a SWF the potatoes that you get in Solo que is pain. If I solo que and see the 3 just crouching in the basement or bumrushing to farm me I am going to try to kill myself and if I get off hook I will try to play but I am not going hard if I lose I will blame the farmer not the killer.

3 matches that i did today as survivor, at least one guy in each match that dc while downed or selfsuicide on hook FOR THE 1ST TIME... this game is full of crybabies ngl

The only time me and a friend do it is if we get farmed infront of the killer without BT causing a snowball. We lose the will to play when we get paired with teammates like that

I have also seen an incredibly large uptick in the number of people DC-ing and not just when it's a god tier nurse clubbing us little baby seals.

weirdest part for me is when the remaining people get mad at the killer for just playing normally and not the person that actually threw and left.
