So day 1 of the MMR test was clearly the best
I don't know about how everyone else feels but the first day of the mmr testing the matches were far and away the most enjoyable. I really hope they move forward by doing whatever they did that day again.

Not really, all I had were SWF's and sweats.

Really? How was your experience on day 2 and 3 then? Those were the days where everyone was running dead hard again for me

I couldn't stand day 1. Killer games were the easiest they've been since pre-ruin rework for me and survivor games (solo queue) were literal hell, being matched against very good killers with the worst survivor mates I have ever seen. And I've played with rank 20s who bought the game 30 minutes prior!
Day 2 was good, except past 11pm (uk time), which is when it normally goes from bad to hell. This time it went from good to hell.
Day 3 was actually fun. There wasn't a COH in sight and I played a bunch of Sadako and had so much fun.

I get dead hard in every game, the MMR change did nothing.
The only thing which changed for me is queue times as killer and survivor were ten mins.

Day 1 was great.
Day 2 was...inconsistent.
Day 3 was horrible. Reminded me of the early days of MMR, sweatiest of sweats

I didn't play survivor that day so maybe my results were highly skewed

D1 Fun as hell with as a killer, decent as a survivor.
D2 Was 50-50 in both sides, sometimes i needed to sweat so hard and sometimes i really had fun.
D3 Sweat fest every match as killer, boring as survivor cuz 80% of the matches was against either a blight, a nurse or a plague.

I found Day 1 to be great as Survivor.
Good Killers and good teammates.

March 31 - Day 4
Was the best for me. SA server (steam - pc)

Day one was awful. Felt worse than usual. Team mates who just pre drop and camp pallets, can't loop, walk around on the outskirts of the map and crouch all the time. I'm tired of these types of players and its really killing the game for me. Day 3 and 4 was easily best for team mates. Matching or close to my hours, knew how to loop, did gens, weren't scared. Killers were consistently mediocre the whole test but there was a lot of camping and hard tunnelling.

Day 1 was boring, baby survivor teammates and decent or baby killers. Boring and unfair either way.
I really enjoyed day 2 and 3 though. Yes the games were sweaty. But the queues times were somehow faster and playing solo queue was no hassle because I always had good teammates. Killers were a challenge most of the time too, the games weren't easy but they were challenging.

I only played as survivor.
Day 1 was decent. Could tell when I would get a not great team based on wait time. Killers were all over the place for skill - either lower skill or higher skill than the team, only a few felt equal skill.
Day 2 was the worst for teammates. So many just either sabotaging the team or just not doing anything.
Day 3 was best for teammates - felt like I was consistently getting good teammates and the skill wasn't dropping after I died. Killers though didn't feel like they were equal skill, felt low skill compared to my team.
Day 4 teammates weren't good. Not as bad as Day 2 but worse than Day 1 and 3. All the killers were running super sweaty builds so had no chance unless killer decided to be nice.

Day 1 was okay but day 2 was better for me as a killer and 3rd day was hell on earth.
1 -
Day 2 was good for me. Day 1 was like being stuck in Purgatory.
1 -
Day 1 was full of sweat-lords. It was exhausting trying to play killer that day...
Day 3-4 were great as killer. Horrible as survivor LOL go figure. But day 3 was super fun for me as killer. Had to try, but it wasn't as fxcking intense as day 1

I dont know, Day 1 felt like no MMR active at all. Was surely quite relaxing, but I dont really want to dump Survivor Teams the whole day because I get matched with players who barely have two digit-hours.

Day 1 was amazing, actually felt unpredictable vs how it's normally been. Day 2 was awful on both sides. Killer boring Survivor nothing but awful teammates. Day 3 felt way more sweaty compared to normal MMR and the other two tests.
2 -
I was the opposite.
First day was absolute bedlam. I went from very easy games to unwinnable games with no rhyme or reason.
Day 2 felt right. Queues were okay, matches were all pretty close, win or lose.
Day 3 felt slightly more even but the queues were vicious.
2 -
Hard disagree on day 1. I was bored out of my mind on killer. Survivors completed 6 gens total against me across 4 games. Two games were 4k at 5 gens.
Survivor was completely unplayable for me. Teammates were clearly still learning basics.
I would quit DbD if they implemented the day 1 test logic. Day 3 was the best for me. I want the toughest games possible.

I'd agree that 3 was the most even for me too, as an intermediate-ish player. What got under my skin though was the queues I had on both killer and survivor. I don't mind watching something while I wait, but it is aggravating to wait 3-6 minutes for a game only to have an insta DC or an AFKer.
2 felt like a happy medium.

The queues for day 3 were odd. I played at peak hours NA East. Survivor queues were instant and killer queues had a bit of a wait. Usually around a minute or two.

Huh. My killer and survivor queues were quite long.

I only played today and yesterday with a variety of killers spanning the roster and I'm getting matched with nothing but 3 and 4 stack TTV SWFs all running meta perks and being so aggressive on gens like it's major league gaming championship

They should just segregate all the Nurse/Blight mains with the SWFs so you can all have fun sweating together like a Finnish sauna
0 -
Seriously. BHVR needs to make it so that the 4 stack sweats need to wait in a long ass queue to match up with the Ruin/Undying/Tinkerer AlcRing Blights and Floods of Rage/MYC/Resonance/DMS Nurses or just scrap the whole MMR system and go back to the old ranking system, tweak the emblems a bit to make it harder to rank up, and lower people's rank more on reset. People that just want to play spooky Myers or Clown or Trickster or Wraith for fun shouldn't be matched up against all these Team Oracle wannabes
2 -
As I and others have suggested...just do what basically every other game does.
When you queue up with friends, your MMR gets artificially inflated proportional to the size of the squad. This allows the advantages of information sharing and coordination to be offset by matching you against a stronger opponent.
1 -
They were already doing that before. SWFs were getting matched against killers with the highest ranking that matched the ranking of the highest SWF member. BHVR decided that they didn't want the 10k hour 4 man SWF to wait too long for a match, so they just match them with whatever killer is next in line, even if it's a baby Wraith running predator
1 -
Day 1 was boring. Survivors were really bad and getting kills was way to easy. Days 2-3 were probably the best ones
0 -
I agree. Day 1 was by far the best.

I haven't been keeping tabs
If behavior doesn't want to take their data acquisition seriously, neither will I.

It wasn't just Nurse. One of my 5 gen 4ks was on Cenobite and I got 12 hooks. I had another 12 hook game on Billy that ended at 3 gens. Chases were lasting about 20 seconds max. The matchmaking was severely undertuned for skilled killers.

Had some good games yesterday, but the wait was a lot longer than usual. Not sure if that was the day of testing but playing surv solo q it honestly restored faith.
Games weren’t as sweaty, won a good amount of games and the killer still got kills, felt evenly balanced for once.
