Key Bug/ Cannot open hatch with purple keys

I seem to have run into a new bug concerning purple keys (not sure about pink ones) and the hatch. After the killer closed the hatch i tried to approach and open it with the purple key i picked up under a dead mate's hook. The key had the addons to see the killer's as well as the survivors' auras and its charges were already fully depleted. As far as i know i should've still been able to open the hatch with it, but when i got to the hatch there was no option to open it. Has anyone else run into this issue or do you know something about this?

    Keys can no longer open the hatch when they have no charges. This was a change they made last year when they updated Franklin's to deplete charges with the release of Nemesis.
