Perk suggestions for a newbie
Hi there!
I'm relatively new to DBD, this is my 2nd cicle of ranking, I got to iridiscent IV now and got to silver IV the past reset. I'm just trying to unlock teachables for now, just grinding trying to get some experience.
Was wondering what are some non-meta perk build you like to go on survs? (No dead hard, borrowed time, etc.) I really like informational perks (aura revealing).
You can also recommend killer builds but I'm only silver III and purely experiencing there so might not have all the perks.
Thank you in advance for pitching in!
Have fun! :)

Spine chill, kindred, windows of opportunity. Those are probably the three best beginner perks. When to run, when to save, and where to run to.

These!
But once you get a good grip, you can try to run specific combos. Windows + Lithe, Spine Chill + Iron Will, Self-care + Botany, Spine chill + resilience.
Idk what I brought when I was a newbie, but I think it was Technician, Urban Evasion, Self-care, and Sprint Burst haha. Oh old times :)

Kindred together with Open handed is also pretty busted. Use it together with WGLF and BT and you can get 4 Stack easily and Avoid the Killer

Survivors actually have some pretty decent non-teachable information perks, in my opinion. You've got Deja Vu for reliably showing you not only where the uncompleted generators are, but also what the three closest together ones are so you can try and avoid a three-gen situation, and you've got Spine Chill for letting you know when the killer's approaching - those'd be the best two unless I'm forgetting one, I can't always remember every single perk in the game lmao. There's also Plunderer's Instinct for the aura of chests, but that's a little less useful, honestly.
Something like Alert from Feng Min might be good for you - shows the aura of the killer every time they kick something, whether it's a generator or a pallet. Dwight and Claudette both have perks for showing you the auras of your teammates, Detective Tapp has a good one for showing you like every single aura except player auras when a generator is completed, Laurie Strode has Object of Obsession that shows you the killer's aura at the cost of showing them yours too...
Honestly, what I've been doing for learning survivor is doing their Adept challenges, there's a nice amount of variety in gameplay to be found there.

Seconding Windows of Opportunity, that one completely slipped my mind. That perk is great.

Don't use meta perks unless you're experienced. Trust me. They'll cause more harm than good
And for the build I agree with OpenX. Though I will add We'll make it or Botany Knowledge. (You can run bond or empathy if you don't like kindred)
