Honestly I am hoping BHVR will finish the bots and put them into the game soon
I feel like beeing able to play against a bot lobby by yourself in a kill your friends is more enjoyable then regular dbd.
-Sweaty tryhard squads or Killers playing Nurse with Starstruck
-Extremely Toxic players that are just unpleasent to deal with in gameplay but also post game
-Frequent bugs or other game issues
-A lot of hackers that keep coming back patch after patch (Not BHVRs fault really)
This all on top of Dbd ITSSELF that already can be sometimes annoying and stressfull just makes Dbd beeing really unfun and not really worth at all. This isnt a "I QUIT DBD" post, I want to say that beeing able to play OFFLINE with just bots in your own kill your friends may be something great for dbd.
Sometimes you just wanna play some chill dbd...

I've said it before, I'd love a bot mode similar to For Honor where you can complete challenges, get BP/XP, progress through rift, etc. just make it so you don't pip/get grade rewards - save grades for PVP mode. Bot mode can be the more casual mode. Can set the bots up to use a variety of load outs so you can use variety of load outs to play against them.

Yeah, I miss chill DBD.
I don't see how we get it back at this point. 😕
I am not quitting either, but I have noticed my game time this month has dropped significantly, and spring is here, so......

I have been all for this happening. This is nowhere near the top of the "dev priority list" though, so good luck...

Yup same here

There are currently hacker bots literally ripped from BHVRs unpublished game files all around the game. These AI work pretty decent on most Killers.

I know... It's too bad the official devs won't get that in the game until the year 2034..

all i get are ######### nemesis'

I would love a single player mode as well.

As soon as bots hit ranked matches, I’m out.

I mean, grade rewards don't really mean much. Pips don't really mean much. You could hook everyone twice, force yourself into lower MMR and easily farm BP and pips. I don't know why people are like "that has to be pvp only". The only thing that somewhat matters right now for PvP is the MMR.
People were always like "if there is a difference between ranked and unranked play, then unranked shouldn't get BP". Like, how the ######### you going to get perks at all? Like the grind isn't grindy enough already. Keep the BP and the pips in such a game. You're still playing against opponents that are going to cause you to lose from time to time. The big difference I would say is no access to offerings.

Mode zombie , spawn 50 zombie in map.

This really needs to be a priority.
Even if it takes time to develop and tweak to make sure it launches without as many bugs... I'd like to see it on a roadmap.

You guys really asking to play against/with bots in a multiplayer game where the one and only purpose of the game is to interact with other players ?
Wow 2022... impressive era...
0 -
You don't want bots like that.
0 -
In fairness, there is no voice chat, so it's not like you're interacting with anyone on an audio level. What's the difference between playing against a bot?
2 -
An AI will never act as a human, will always take the same path to go from one point to another, will have robotic moves etc... No way i want bots in this game.
Offline against bots is ok, i do not care but bots on online servers, no way.

I think BHVR has learned over the years that providing a road map is bad. When something happens and you can't release content on the date it was announced, the fan base then gets angry. If you don't promise a date then they can't get angry when you have to push it back.

Getting a legit single-player mode of some kind might seriously make me consider coming back.

Honestly, it shouldn't be THAT hard.
You shouldn't be making a tight schedule - you should be announcing things with a LOT of wiggle room. If there's a crunch to get things out, it's better to release a broken version to the PTB for 3 days and pull it back than it is to just pretend it doesn't exist (which is their preferred strategy)
They are a multi million dollar company with hundreds of employees.
If they don't have a grip on what this year looks like within a reasonable forecast - someone up top needs to be replaced.
