So I thought about a Conjuring Chapter
Hey Guys! I think most of you know that for many years, people are theoryzing about a Conjring Chapter for the game. Personally, I love the Conjuring movies and I think that it can find its place in DBD. Long story short, I made a concept for what is could look like and I thought I share with you and ask for opinions. So here it is (Note: I'm not proper in english so there might be a few grammar mistakes in the text)
The Conjuring Chapter
NEW MAP: Abbey of St.Carta, Romania
NEW KILLER: The Nun: An unholy killer, Valak, a fearful demon hunts in the shadows in his favourite form, the Nun. His power, Unholy Presence allows him to weaken survivors faith and move through the shadows unseen by anyone. His teachable perks Unseen Terror, Scourge Hook: Demonic Power and Hex:Possessed helps him to silently approach unmindful survivors, give him a buffed strenght and torment survivors even after they sabotaged you
KILLER'S POWER: Unholy Presence: Hold the Right Click to send a shadow indicator through the ground (max. range: 15 meters). While you charging up your power, you slowed down to 105% movement speed. The indicator can go through walls. Tap the Left Click to activate the indicator, making it to turn into an illusion of you, appearing in a jumpscare fashion for 1,5 seconds. After you activated the power, you cannot send out another illusion for 3 seconds. Any survivor, within 8 meter range of the illusion will scream and will be slowed down to 50% movement speed for 4 seconds. They also gain one charge of Opressed. When a survivor's Opressed meter is full (there are 5 charges of it) they get the Oblivious status effect and they repair and healing speed is decreased by 20%.
-Passive Ability: Altars of Faith: When a survivor's Opressed meter is filled, they are allowed to see the auras of the 4 Altars spawned in the map. When a survivor is interacting with them, they start to pray. The praying lasts for 10 seconds. After they finish, they Opressed meter goes down to 0 and they cannot gain any Opressed again. Each used Altars decrease our Terror Radius by 8 meters. If all Altars are used, we gain the Undetectable status effect for the entire match
-Special Ability: Shadow Step: When standing in front of a wall, press LCtrl to blend to it and turn into a shadow. A a shadow, we move at 130% movement speed and have no Terror Radius, but survivors can see our. shadow moving through walls. Press LCtrl again, to manifest from the walls. Manifestation lasts for 2 seconds. When manifesting, survivors hear a mapwide bell sound.
PERKS:
-Unseen Terror: When no survivors see us for 6/4/2 seconds, we gain the Undetectable effect. When a survivor see us, this effect still linger for 2 secinds
-Scourge Hook: Demonic Power: 4 scourge hooks appear in the map. If a survivor is saved from a scourge hook, this perk activates for 60 seconds. We break palletts, walls, generators and recover from stuns 10/15/20% faster
-Hex:Possessed: When a survivor is clensed a Hex totem, a dull totem will be changed to a Hex totem just for that survivor. The effects of the clensed Hex totem still lingers on the survivor, until they clense the new totem. The affected survivor can see the totem's aura within 24/20/16 meter range. For the first 90 seconds, only the affected survivor can clense the totem.

The chapter and perks seem decently thought out. I like the killer power, it doesn't seem too powerful and it's got some passive slowdown. The perks aren't game changing, but they're decent.
I'm not sure if this will ever happen, though. I think there were some rumours about a Conjuring chapter a bit ago (though we aren't really supposed to talk about those) but I doubt that BHVR will ever create killers or chapters focused around a living religion. Obviously, the Conjuring as a series is pretty rooted within Christianity, to the point it would be tough to take all references out. Plague doesn't count as her entire culture and civilization has been dead for thousands of years.

Thanks for sharing your opinion 😀
For the second part, I agree. Nowdays it can be very risky to implament these kind of things to a horror game. But who knows, maybe one day we could see it come to life
