How You Counter Iron Will as Spirit?
IW is okey perk for me. I have not problem against IW gamers.
But i have issue when i play Spirit. She needs to listen but how you can do this against IW users? I need tips from Spirit mains.

Against good survivors, you don't. Hence why it was a bad idea.
You're left making guesses from your game play experience on survivor predictability.

Scratch marks can manipulate, no voice, you are not seeing survivor but survivor know you are phasing where... This is unfair.
Another thing will ignore by BHVR probably...

You'll just have to guess I suppose.

Not a spirit main but I had The Game yesterday against a SWF and I found that using your power for like a second was enough to make a survivor mess up their loop movement and get downed even with iron will.
I guess they thought I was going to commit and would try to run to the pallet in the loop only to get a lunge.

You’re limited to short bursts. You can’t really do long phases against IW users unless they’re very predictable.

Don't go for long phases. Use your eyes as much as possible and use process of elimination. Sometimes the lack of environmental cues are a huge clue as to where a survivor is. Marvel at the superhuman ability of survivors to not breathe at all while running.

They just moved the stand still spirit issue to stand still survivors. I tend to short phase intially to see what mind games are being played if I play Spirit. If they stand still, or barely move, I have a 50/50 of catching them off guard. If they held forward, i'll get my phase back quicker and they'll expect me to short phase again. Rinse repeat.
I prefer using dried cherry blossom and mother daughter ring now tho, I know people hate it but at the same time dh/iron will on every survivor every match isn't fun either.

Or you can listen for the steps if you have a good headset ... those also work on healthy survivor but your realy need a good headset... if you don't then good luck...

You don't give the IW user any further chances to participate in any chases.

IW in general.

Even sound in DBD is borked sometimes and really inconsistent, I had a game last night as Myers on Autohaven and I didn't have stridor and I had a weird sound error of mikaela breathing in my ear really loud like AMSR when she was really far away from me in a chase and then some times I couldn't hear an injured Feng right in front of me.

The same way you "counter" healthy survivors. Dont know why people always complain about IW while healthy survivors exist in first place.

Get a 5 million dollar headset

But you can hear breathing at least when they’re healthy.

There's a couple ways.
Short burst phases.
Footsteps (which are actually semi consistent on most maps now, finally!!).
Moving foliage/dust (if available)
Dried Cherry Blossom, however I wouldn't suggest this because it will build very bad habits and you'll be forced to run it every game
They're not the most consistent, and honestly I'm manifesting the day they put injured noises + breathing in a different folder so you still make some noise while injured with IW, but for now you can make do. As long as you're not on Swamp, anyway.

It's tricky but there are a few things that help a little
- You can still hear footsteps with Iron Will so listen for those
- Against an Iron Will gamer don't try to land right on them, just use the Phase to get closer to them and do the chase normally from there. So for instance, if they drop a pallet against you, break it and use Phase to follow the scratches until you're close then do a normal chase.
- Don't be afraid to switch targets early in the match when you realize someone has Iron Will. Odds are decent only one or two survivors has it so focus on them first.
- As far as Perks go, Predator actually works kind of ok on Spirit since you can still see scratches while Phased. So in particular, when you're against an Iron Will survivor, if you have Predator you can actually just follow their trail really easily, at least as long as they keep running. Again, as above you follow it until the trail stops or you think you're close rather than going for a hit right out of phase.

That’s why I’m hoping they can remove DCB. It’s not a healthy add on.

By not using your power.

And injured have the same breathing sounds, so what?

They make no breathing sounds with Iron Will.

depends on map if your chasing someone in a coldwind farm map you can see the movements of the corn and tell which whay they are going and also for palets if u want to mindgame you can see when they vault whie u are in the phase form cause the palet has funni dust that can tell which whay the surv is vaulting
