Survivor in first person
You know i always thought about this, what if survivors played in first person, just like the killer
wouldn't make the game extremely scary, cuz obviously right the game is not even close to scary, sure some tense moments here and there and some jumpscares from piggy or ghost but nothing like it used to be
Of course when fixing gens or opening a chest, anything that involves holding m1 you get the third person, but anything else that doesn't involve holding m1 is in first person, and of course the looking back mechanic with Q and E you know something like outlast has
please know this is just my opinion so no "ARE U TRYING TO KILL THE GAME" comments

not even close to scary?
it's not like looking behind you is very hard in 1st person,
things like Dead Hard, try using that in first person,
try looping around and not running into things, doing mindgames as survivor in first person....

or maybe togglable, or actually that would be useless because everyone would use third person for advantage

If you could choose between the two sure, but to have survivors just play in first person no.
I like to go back and forth from third to first person having the game just in first person I would get bored of it really quick and problem stop playing. But then again...

Survivor in first person could be amazing, but killer would need a global nerf. like all killers down to 105% movement speed or something like that

Im fine with it as a optional thing. Some people bring no mither to make the game harder on themselves. So idk why this is any different.

I actually love the idea of a first person option. I'd only play in that mode. Yeah it'd make things harder, but more fun at the same time. I'm all for this 100%, give me spoopy.

As a gamemode could be funny.
But the killers should be running at a lower speed (105%-110%) if we want it to be balanced.

I dont know why this comes up again and again, but it will never happen.
There is no point in creating this as a gamemode or as an optional feature, the number of people who would play in first person would be really low. Sure, many will try it out, realize that it sucks and would switch back to 3rd person. So why should they put time into a feature most of the people would not even use?
And changing it into first person for everyone - the game will be 6 years old now. It was designed for third person Survivor and every change and every new addition was made with that in mind. Way too late to change anything about it.

I know this thread is a month old but FYI there's a YouTube video someone did where they actually play 1st person survivor in private matches on a private survivor. It's pretty interesting to see what it would look like!
