Clown has to get a direct hit with it within basically melee range to down you, how did you manage to get hit? Just throw pallets down early and break the loop...

Eh. Instaclown isn’t remotely as bad as Iri Hatchets.
Instaclowns tend to be hyperfocussed on getting the direct hit with the bottle. The time spent doing that roughly equals the amount a regular clown would spend getting the normal M1 hits.
The only nerf I would appreciate would then be that instadown bottles don’t apply Hindered.

Clown's the weakest killer in the game. Pinky Finger was unfair, but even with it, he wasn't good. With a maximum of four if if doesn't bring any other addons, it's no longer really a problem.

Spirit is fine. Clown, overall, is fine. Could probably be buffed, even. I don't play Clown, so I can't say whether he should or shouldn't be buffed. Pinky Finger should trump other add-ons, in the same way Iri Head does. That's all.
It's akin to Iri Head + Infantry Belt. If you can just run a second add-on to negate the downside of it, then is it really fine as is?

If his bottles downed without the need of getting a basic attack as well then maybe. But just the fact he has to hit you directly and then hit you after is very different to huntress.
I'd also add you have to use an iri and purple addon just to make it worth it and even then it's not as strong as iri huntress etc.

As a former Clown main my wish was for it to be reworked into an entirely new addon. Not only do I find it incredibly uncreative, but I believe it promotes bad gameplay.

Pinky Finger has the same counters as base-kit Clown.
Just drop Pallets early, like you would with normal Clown, and Pinky Finger will only affect you if he's camping, which can be countered by just doing gens

But clown's bottles don't work at all like huntresses hatchets, even with pinky finger. So giving him the same limitations as a killer who's got a much better ranged attack doesn't make any sense to me.

Pinky Finger has already been nerfed once. Clown's bottles work different from Huntress's Hatchets, so giving him the same limitations would just make him weaker than he already is. Just leave Clown alone, he's one of the weakest killers in the game and he needs everything he can get.

i dont really think pinky finger needs a nerf as much as it needs a rework and that goes for iri head to theyre both incredibly uncreative and boring to vs i would like to see a new version of both that is possibly stronger but more skillful and interesting to face/use

Don't know who Sluzzy is, I just don't much care for insta-down add-ons in general and how they make for great camping tools.
Clown wouldn't be any worse off if Pinky Finger had the same limitations as Iri Head. Just means less people would use the add-on.
Insta-down add-ons in general are boring to play against.

You play againts face camping instadown killer or just a killer that walks to you and insta downs you.
The nerf was not enough, same situation that happend to Huntess addon.

Can we also make it so the bottle can hit across the map with a better throwing arc and downs the survivor immediately instead of requiring a follow-up hit? If so, you might get more support.
