If you were in game, what would your personal perks be?

If you want, feel free to make a power based on your interests outside of DBD.

Try to keep your perks and/or power as balanced as you can!

edit: I feel like I should clarify these are meant to represent how you are in real life, not things you'd like to be in game.

Carrier- when teammates haven't touched a gen in awhile increase my repair speed

Get back here- when a teammates DCs they get dragged back into the match and forced to sit in a cage till the games over, any BP they was carrying is given to me

Be nice- if a survivor constantly teabags they break their legs, alternatively if they macro their flashlight it blows up. Either action puts them into the dying state

be nice to me- if a killer BMs or hits on the hook they get sent flying back and hit with a stun.

    hmmm.

    not sure about balance.

how do these connect to your interests outside of dbd?

When I mean not touched a gen I mean they haven't done any action in X time, like people just hiding all game.

And well I hate childish and toxic people in general, I dont get why people cant just be nice to one another. I dont hate on people or try bullying them.

And I'm always carrying stuff, in games or in life lol

Way Too Angy: Pick up and throw a pallet at the Killer. This break the pallet but suns the Killer for 3/4/5% longer if it hits. "Look out! He's angy!"

Snark: Angy will snark under his breath at the Killer when he's within their TR. He gets 5/6/7% more BP for the Boldness category. "He can't keep his mouth shut, even when it's in his best interest to do so"

Percussive Maintenance: Angy can kick a generator to instantly gain 3/4/5% progress. This still alerts the Killer as if it was exploded. This can only be done once every 120 seconds. It requires a 3 second charge-up time. "He knows how to make inanimate objects work via blunt force"

This one's mine: once you acquire your prey, nothing stands in your way. When picking up a survivor you cannot be stunned, blinded or interrupted. Your movement pushes survivors out of your path to prevent body blocking.

Blockhead: one too many blows to the head has affected you. When pallet stunned let out a roar. All gens within 10/20/30 meters explode. (Combine with dead man's switch for maximum effectiveness)

Spoiled Sport: the entity despises show boating. Any and all survivors teabagging at the exit gate are teleported away from all exits and are rancored.

    Bullshittery

    New Karuma "GBK" Hikarii perk

You're truly excellent at talking utter nonsense to get you out of a tricky situation.

After quickly vaulting a pallet or window, dropping a pallet, or quickly exiting a locker, Bullshittery activates. For the next 3 seconds, all of your scratch marks appear in the opposite direction to where you actually ran.

Bullshittery has a cooldown of 50/45/40 seconds.

"Yeah no I totally know this, um-"

    Boon: Sturdy

Years of martial arts training has really paid off, and you know how to take a beating.

While within 24m of the Boon totem, become affected by the Hindered and Exhausted status effects for 5/4/3 seconds.

While injured, become affected by the Endurance status effect.

After being hit while Endurance is active within the Boon radius, the relevant totem is immidiately snuffed and broken.

    "Try again, sweetheart x"

    -GBK

    Hyperfixate

When something catches your attention, you need to know everything about it possible. And everyone around you should know, too.

Looking at any Prop allows you to mark it by using the Active Ability button, revealing it to all other players within the Trial. All Props within 60m of this Prop are revealed to you permanently while you're within a 60m/62m/64m range.

You never said they had to balanced, right..?

Asthmatic: You suffer from the Exhausted status effect for the entire trial. When running, your breathing and grunt of pain are increased by 50/75/100%.

Sweaty: You leave pools of sweat behind you while running, occasionally blur vision and reduce skill check success zone by 5/10/15%.

Heavy lifter: You can carry a survivor in the dying state to get him in cover. While carrying a dying survivor:

    • The carried survivor can recover health (like normal);
    • You see the aura of other survivors;
    • You move at 60/70/80% move speed and can not sprint.

    Hex: Lazyness

    • Your Lazyness has affected others. While Hex: Lazyness is active, the following effects occur:
    • Survivors suffer a 30 % penalty on healing and repairing.
    • Good Skill Checks have a 50 % chance of failing, making generators explode, notifying the Killer but not losing any progress towards repair and healing actions.
    • Survivors sound 50/60/70 % deeper.
    • This effect persists for as long as the related Hex Totem is standing.

    Scourge Hook: Drink a lot

    • Drinking is quite important, you tell people every time:
    • Up to 4 hooks are changed into Scourge Hooks.
    • Hooking a Survivor on a Scourge Hook grants every Survivor, including yourself a bottle of water to stay hydrated.
    • Drinking the water grants Survivors 2.000 Bloodpoints in the Boldness category and grants you a 10 % Haste Status Effect for 4/5/6 seconds.
    • Drinking the water takes 1.5 seconds and consumes the bottle.

"A bottle a day keeps the Doctor away.. wait, that's not quite right." - MrDardon

    It's Gaming Time

    • Gaming is one of your favourite things to do. Teach others how to play:
    • Your Field of View is set to 100°.
    • Every succesful basic attack grants you 1 % extra movement speed up to a maximum of 8/9/10 %.
    • Everytime a Survivor heals to full, it removes 1 %.

Inspired by Turbo I got some Killer perks, too. Taking the worst personality traits of mine and amplifying them to 300. And this time I have proper formatting.

    Anger issues

    Teachable "The Corrupted" Perk

Every time you're stunned by a pallet, Anger Issues gains a token. Hitting a survivor with a Basic Attack consumes all tokens.

When you have 4/3/2 tokens, the next Basic Attack will put any healthy survivor into the Dying State, bypassing all Endurance effects.

"Just me, or do the people here really piss you off?"

    -GBK

    Jealousy

    Teachable "The Corrupted" Perk

You've never been good with sharing who's rightfully yours. Nor letting them do anything, actually.

    Become Obsessed with one Survivor.

After your Obsession becomes fully healed by any means, all other Survivors are affected by the Exposed Status Effect for 40/45/50 seconds.

Hitting your Obsession afflicts them with the Haemorhage Status Effect.

You can only be obsessed with one survivor at a time.

    Hex: Superiority Complex

    Teachable "The Corrupted" Perk

They're beneath you. They've always been beneath you.

Whenever a generator is completed while the Hex is active, one Survivor at random becomes Targeted and Hex: Superiority Complex gains 1 Token, up to a maximum of 2/3/4 Tokens. No new Survivors can become Targeted when at maximum Tokens.

The Hex perk persists while the related Hex Totem remains standing.

"I'm just- I'm so sick and tired of your bullshit! I'm better than you, you know?!"

    -GBK

    new status effect

    Targeted

Targeted is a new Status Effect being introduced into Dead By Daylight. When a Survivor is Targeted, their aura is revealed permanently while outside of a 24m range, and they can be killed by your hand without needing to be hooked previously.

The only one I can remember is... Live Or Let Die

If Unhooked then either a healing bonus (I know how original) or a speed bonus

Or if I die then the rest of the team gets speed bonus on gens for the next 10-15-30 Seconds

  • Hoodied
    Hoodied Member Posts: 13,101

    By your side

You try to be by others, protecting them with everything you have. When being near other survivors, you gain 4/5/6% faster action speeds, healing speed is double this amount.

"Look either you die or I die, I do not prefer the ladder to happen"

    Repression

You attempt to repress things, but in the end you need them for survival. Upon being unhooked, you are broken for 60 seconds, when the broken effect ends you gain .5%/1%/1.5% extra movement speed for the remainder of the trial.

"Lets pretend that never happened and move on from it, shall we?"

    Last Resort

You put all the cards on the table in an attempt to set things right. When you are one hook state away from being sacrificed this perk activates. All survivor auras are permanently revealed to you and all status effects timers are reduced by 40%/45%/50%. Stuns lengths are increased by .5 seconds

Tada, I love these posts as I get to create different perks each time

My perks would only activate when I was in a match with Trickster. I'll share the names of the perks.

    - On My Knees

    - On His Shoulders

    - Hunger

    That's all I'm sharing 😃

    You've Gotta Be Kidding Me

The dignity of your teammates' stupidity is astounding. When unhooked by a teammate without Borrowed Time, gain Endurance for 4/6/8 seconds if the Killer is within 42m.

    Hold The Line

You commit to the objective, no matter what. You can no longer be subjected to the Grab action. All Grab actions are treated as a Basic Attack.

    No, Not That Way!

Sometimes your teammates need to not run into the jaws of death. Other Survivors do not leave scratch marks when within 4/5/6 meters of you.

    Survivor perks:

    Boon: Mind's Eye

    (Yada yada usual boon stuff)

Survivors in the range of the boon see the auras of all other survivors and survivors outside of the boon's range see the auras of any survivors within the boon's range

    This effect persists for 2/3/4s

    Epiphany:

For 7/8/9s at the start of the trial, you see the auras of all generators, all other survivors and the killer

The killer also sees your aura, but for 5 seconds instead

    Psychic Connection:

You see the auras any survivors within 5/10/15m would see, they also see any auras you would see

After a generator is completed, see the auras of any totems or chests within 10/20/30m

    Killer perks:

    Watchful Gaze:

Aura reading duration is increased by 3/4/5s

Every 110/100/90s the aura of the furthest survivor is revealed to you for 2s, this effect is disabled when there are less than 2 survivors remaining in the trial.

    Hex: Tripwire

After another hex is cleansed, a random dull totem becomes lit and all generators are blocked until that hex is cleansed, if no dull totems are available, instead all generators become blocked for 30/35/40s

    Stunning Strike:

A survivor hit by your basic attacks is inflicted by incapacitated for 10/12/14s, additionally, any incapacitated effects that you inflict on survivors also prevent survivors from entering/exiting lockers, using activatable perks, leaving through the exits and dropping pallets
