Anyone else starting to find tunneling relaxing?

I mean, the survs smash generators with their toolboxes and heal in seconds with their boons but meanwhile, as soon as you tunnel someone it's like their brains turn off and they swarm you/DC.

Really starting to enjoy tunnelling more than patrolling generators only to find the survivors have gone ultra-immersive mode or they've run miles cuz of spine chill.

I don't get fun games anymore due to them lasting a few moments so I guess that means the person being tunneled doesn't either.

"Killer is tunneling a survivor, better stand by this generator and do nothing until they finish."

I enjoy it because it takes the power away from the survivor.

If they don't get tunneled they can do what ever they want, where as when tunneled they are just the rat in the barrel.

The tunnelling stops them from doing anything, getting points, emblems etc.

And if the other survivors just rush the gens and leave they won't pip because they never got chased so it forces them to interact if they want a higher grade.

I think some people are missing the OPs point. When a survivor is being tunnelled, sometimes the rest of the team will band together to try and prevent it. This can make a nice change of pace. Instead of slogging from gen to gen, checking lockers and bushes or eating a billion pallets, the killer can chase one survivor and the rest will follow.

One thing I will say, is that I find less and less people running DS.

No because the other survivors will body block for them or you will get hit with DS or both.

I haven’t been using it because it’s bugged with the new wiggle. Sometimes it just doesn’t work.

Me who still hasn't started tunneling, because if I did the survivor would just run me for 5 gens 🤣

    I have a question.

If you know Im the only survivor who has Zero 2nd chance, would you tunnel me?

I saw many killers telling they will tunnel because everyone use Meta, though they never answer this when I ask them.

    Uh, ok. Strange post... lol

If anything you're doing the survivor a favor by tunneling them. Chases are the most fun thing in the game so getting chased the entire time is the best kind of game you can have

I don't tunnel, i very sneakily follow the obsession with rancor equipped

  • Member Posts: 178

Because they know you'd be the first one out of the game in that case, lol. If it's possible to get results with the easier option, people will usually choose the easier option. The only way to solve the problem is to get rid of that choice.

    honestly.

I had a match where this one survivor brought a crossbow. really irritating.

Yes, killers reward me for not using any 2nd chance is to tunnel me harder.

I know vs bully squads is frustrated, but its not an excuse to make casual solo players worse. If I get tunneled 3 times in a row, I will shift to 4 2nd chance just to let myself have ability to play the game, and its not about escaping.

This is a player after my own heart. I don't know what's better, if they realize what you're doing and spend a few minutes trying to lose you or if they don't realize it and turn friendly.

Seeing the personality behind a survivor is always a pleasure. Well, at least until you Rancor them.

Yes, the devs want me to play the game like this apparently so I'm gonna do it.

I agree with what you said. All that against you as killer, and then they begin flopping hard when you play the only way you can. I swf'd all day and we just went for flashlight saves, its just vibes all around 😮

It is basically playing the game on narrative mode, not going to lie.

Killers tunneling because of the Meta is just an excuse for tunneling. Its the same when a Nerf happens to a Perk or Killer (as rarely as this happens), Killers announce on the forums that they cannot play "normally" anymore and have to tunnel every game.

But they are tunneling regardless. If a Killer finds you after an Unhook and notices that the unhooking Survivor does not have BT, they will tunnel everyone unhooked by this Survivor. If they notice you dont have DS, you will be quickly downed after your second Unhook as well.

Saying they tunnel "because everyone uses the Meta" is just something made up. You wont get rewarded if you use fun Perks (because you want to be nice, because you want to have fun or for whatever reason).

i don't tunnel for free, if i do it, it's for necessity most of the times (the typical case of a single chase = 3 gens) or if a survivor was toxic. i don't like doing it, but most of the times it's the most valid strategy that a killer has and surviovors will force you to do so...

Thread title is incorrect. Change it to "Hey! Notice me! I'm desperately seeking for attention!"

90% of what these forums have turned into. I'm glad I don't use them as much anymore. It's zzzzzzzz

I dont like Tunneling because survivors interpret it as an admission of defeat.

I'd rather smack you with Noed after hooking all survivors for NWO stacksthan tunnel, ideally. Not that that's much better but it's a start

I love to get tunneled the few times I want to play survivor

Mainly because smashing M1 in a generator for 30 minutes and crouching away when I hear the terror radius its boring af

The only fun thing I found about playing survivor its looping the killer as much as I can
