Survivors are not afraid of Killers because they have been given too many tools not to be.

Just yanking them off gens as a stealth killer would probably scare them more than Lightborn.

I think its more they have too many tools that let you do it all on your own.
The team element of survivor has been heavily eroded in an effort to make solo players feel more viable but that's just lead to a lot of one on one intereactions taking the whole game, while everyone else just sits on gens.
I'm not scared of the killer because there is not much that's surprising about them, so I'll either run one for half the objective or someone else will run them for half the objective.
They probably won't get to use a mori and I don't have to worry about moris anyway because if we get to that I'm dead anyway.
Outside of being really good at the game most killers don't really have a lot to threaten you with. b
Its like being unable to solo your objective or eliminated early isn't fair so we want to be able to do everything without aid not worry about being eliminated.
I can't think of a duller game experience. The threat of elimination and the element of upredictable surprise is what makes the game scary without it its just dull predictable loopy chase which actually isn't that fun or interesting.

Why do players keep bringing up that survivors aren't scared of killers if it's so obvious? If players stopped bringing it up maybe I'd believe it were so obvious to them.

Fear can never be instilled while playing the game if you want to really freak survivors out call them by their real name in post game lobby

It's less fear and more respect, i think.
As a Killer, I need to respect the fact that Survivors can pre-drop every pallet and win. I need to respect their capability to pressure multiple gens. I need to respect the impact that one Survivor can make.
As Survivor, I've never really felt that way, at least on a macro level. There are some Killers that just aren't threatening. You need to respect Nurse's lethality and Blight's mobility sure, but Legion? Not so much.
So i would amend @WesCravenFan's statement by saying Survivors do not respect Killers. I think that's what gets us into trouble. You can't treat them all the same.
