SWF should have one less perk slot each.
This game has balance issues but I'm wondering if this would help. Considering they have no need for aura perks I think this might be a little fairer for killers.
Seriously I find someone fast and then down them fast. Yet 2 gens pop even with corruption.
So I camp just to get a little joy.
Even though I don't really wish to I'm not going to be a doormat.

Fair enough then what would you suggest to combat the unfair advantage SWF with comms have? The impact to solo queue survivors must also be considered.

As it should be yes. If you have played against swf with a variety of killers at a high level you know why this is reasonable.

At least this is something that could be easily tested and implemented. I'm also not seeing many better suggestions.

Solution for killers then apart from them not play, sweat every game, hard camp or only play the strongest killers at all times?

How is my suggestion not better? If solo survivors could match swf survivors in power level, that means killers can be more powerful to deal with both.
Your suggestion while easier wouldn't really fix long term issues. Solo survivor would still suck. Weak killers couldnt really be stronger because of solo survivor. So the only diffrence it would make is - bully squads wouldn't bully as effieciently......... Unless they try queing at the same time.

LOL Discord did not only exist for gaming. And if BHVR just disable SWF option Discord is useless in that aspect. The problem with SWF is not only voice ch(e)at which is a big advantage himself alone but also bein trained with a fix group and fix roles and last but not least coordinating perks in massively effective way ... = SWF is completely op and unfair. I understand you love SWF but that dont gives you the right to get so many advantages.
Remember without killers and sometimes sorrowfully disadvataged solo survs you definetely cant play dbd. You need them. But they both dont need SWF and more and more are coming to realize it. And you see it from a "business standpoint" why do you need to force killers to play with SWF although they dont want? Imagine more and more killers dodging every sus lobby. Will a queue of 20, 30 or minutes be fun for you in the future or even good for "business"?

So there are only 2 options left.
1.) Show SWF clearly so killers and solo survs can decide if they wanna play with them. Or ..
2.) Separate these fractions to a dedicated server for each.

When they were implementing bloodlust they originally imagined a fatigue system where the survivor got slower as chases went on but the feedback from testers was pretty bad, so instead they went with buffing the killer's speed. The point is that people really resent being weakened so buffing solos and killers would be more acceptable than outright nerfing sweefs.
Tl;dr make solos and killers have 5 perks instead.

This is even worse.
1) Killers would most likely dodge repeatedly, to the point where no one would find matches. And then it would just turn back to playing against swf.
2) No one would play these unless they were given a reward.
And again, why not do it slowly but make sure it works? Why does the answer have to be now.

But it already happened if killer sus lobby to be a swf squad e.g. some private profiles etc.
And if killer knows for sure its no swf then there is no more reason for dodging. Only swf squads will loose. But they can also play as killer against swf squads to compensate the loss of killers for swf squads and they can experience how unfun it is as killer against swf squad. I would say in the end win-win-win.
And his to be now since swf squads are preferred right from the start until today which is many, many years. When if not now?

LOL You did not understand. Solo Survs are mostly disadvantaged. Killers are in the middle and swf squads are the favs of the devs until today. So if there should be no separation solo survs need buffs (like BT and Kindred as Base Set), Killers can be as they are and swf squads should be limited to a maximum of 3 survs so that swf squads always play 3 vs. 1 killer.

And you want to prevent swf squads from losing their illegitimate privileges. I just want to balance the game which is awaiting a solution for nearly 7 years.

No not about people but about game and balance. If you think dbd is a family and swf, solo survs and killer are the children swf for sure is the spoiled brat. Thats why they dont want any changes esp. these one that could break their privileges. The claim its just the fun aspect 4 friends playin together but that is only 50% of truth. Dbd is competetive no question and as swf squad you got most advantages.

There is a difference between play with friends and ch(e)at with friends though?
Do they advertise voice chat? No because you need a 3rd party app for that.

Ok i heard your anecdotes about all swf squads that will leave dbd immediately if killers can choose to play against them or not or that you play killer and solo too. The problem that there is an enormous lack fo killers at evening and night time has to do with it. More and more killers dont want unfair matches against swf squads. Idc if you can accept it but its a fact!
Afaik in the absolute beginning there was no swf for a month or so and if you think about the idea of the game a voice ch(e)at is the last thing that would fit into it.
And calm down. No one wants to punish swf squads. Except you think its a kind of punishment if killers can see if the group in the lobby is swf or not. But thats your own problem. Then you can still play with friends. But no one can be forced to play killer for you. Maybe you will then really fill the gap and play killer against swf squads. I am fine with it and surely all killer whon dont want to play with swf are fine too. Then bhvr just has to blance solo surv and killers that they can have some fun too. After 7 years its overdue cause they are customers too. Not only you and your friends. Got it?

Like you many dont like it for one simple reason. Its completely unfair and that for nearly 7 years meanwhile. I bet toxic behaviour has its reason mostly in this imbalance. Its overdue to make it fair. And if there is no fairness at least killer and solo survs should know when they meet a swf squad in lobby. Then the problem will be solved too and bet swf squads then want some changes if their queue make them wait up to 30 minutes/match or even longer. I bet this will happen if everyone can see if there is a swf squad in the lobby.

It would be better if it went the other way. Solos and killers should have an extra perk slot when dealing with SWF. Communication is at least as valuable as a perk, but hamstringing SWFs isn't the answer.
Personally, I just think I should get a BP bonus to make up for their extra power.

I play solo and do alright with 4 usually depending on team.

I doubt it, but my main point is that it's bad to take something away from SWFs, better to balance by giving than taking.
And I'm not questioning your badassery, to be a happy solo player means you're probably tough as nails. But it's accepted as truth that the game is particularly hard on you guys, specifically because of SWFs.
I don't mind SWFs at all, but just because you and I are able to overcome the imbalance, doesn't make it fair, especially to newer players. A few exrtra BP isn't unreasonable.

Everyone's fun obviously matters. But you can't be punitive toward people for playing the game how they want. For similar reasons you can't make hook camping punishable, for example. Folks have different conceptions of fun.
A better solution is to give killers a multiplicative BP bonus depending upon how many survivors are grouped up. Don't punish the players, take the bite out of unfortunate situations.

Extra BP won't cut it for having an unfair game for me personally.
I have fun against some swf other times it's just BS even if I made no mistakes.

What if facing swf is fun to me as killer?
I love going against swfs, and better if they are good players (because most swfs are kinda not great). Their altruism honestly gets me more kills than not, especially beamer swfs.
But realistically, nerfing one slot won't even matter to good survivor teams. A good survivor is still a good survivor even without perks. If they are a god looper with perks I mean those skills still carry over without them or using completely different perks.

I'll tell you one thing I've learned over the years, punishing players for deciding to play with friends is the absolute easiest way to kill your game fast. Take of that what you will

Stealth survivor mains are out in droves.
Not even open to testing any solutions.

You don't need aura perks in solo either.
They're just nice to have for both ways to play, but they aren't necessary, so that's a really weird justification for this idea.
