Player Satisfaction survey

Does anyone else feel that BHVR is starting to listen with decline with players and most noticeably killers?

The recent survey actually addresses the SBMM mess given when MMR was promised.

Whilst SWFs obviously create two level playing fields when 3rd party communications are added I have no idea why they aren't just adding communications so it can be enabled to address this so it can be balanced away from solo survivors.

Nope they arent listening. They're looking at stats mostly, not that I blame them so many players just lie about things or dont play both sides to give a fair and valuable feedback.

They ignore off peak players, high mmr players and just focus on low mmr and casual players.

Killers are leaving because the 2k 2E is an awful balance point especially for how most killers play or want to play. Not to mention making strict mmr a thing wont make killer better yet that's what they're trying

    I hope they do.

But i don´t know how to balance for bad - med - high - solo and swf players.

When i get matched with not so good teammates a normal killer is already super strong.

When i get matched with good teammates even a good killer can sometimes do nothing.

High killers and SWF are a completely different thing on their own.

The only chance i see is to either nerf high tier or buff low tier.

You could have used the search function, but here we go:

    1. There are already better alternatives. SWFs are already using Discord, creating an ingame Comms-System would just be a wasted time for BHVR.
    2. What about Solos playing with SWFs? If there is an SWF in the game, why should they use the ingame System when they can use Discord? Lets say it is a 3 man SWF and one Solo, the Solo would not be able to communicate with them, being at a disadvantage.
    3. Langue Barrier - there are more than one language on the EU-Servers. And not every country has people who speak English to a Level that it can actually being used for communication. And then again, I am German. If I play with 3 french people, whether they are in an SWF or not, why should they switch to English for me, when they can speak French?
    4. Not everyone wants to speak to 12yr olds with 5 Euro-microphones who are screaming into their mic or hearing loud music.
    5. There are people out there who just dont want to talk to other players. Who just want to have an immersed gaming experience. Those will eitehr have an disadvantage or are forced to speak to strangers online.
    6. Streamers would not be able to participate in ingame voice-chat. One Troll saying the N-Word can get the Stream banned. So you would have streamers who are at a disadvantage, which is already bad advertisement for BHVR.
    7. Last but not least - people are really overestimating the strength of Comms. Most Communication ingame is not super-organized, you wont see Callouts like in tournaments. The last time I was able to hear a 4 man SWF (a Streamer with their friends) I faced, they did not talk about the game at all. They talked about Genshin Impact the whole time. The main strength of SWF is to filter out Potatoes.

Especially point 4-6 need to be noted. Nobody should be at disadvantage because they dont want to use comms for whatever reason.

But, in the end, this whole discussion is pointless. Comms will never be integrated into the game.

I think voice comms will never come to the game. And i don´t want that really.

But maybe they implement some kind of advanced gestures (on controller you have only up and down atm - left and right are free) or these ping systems where you can set some markers for "killer there", or "working on gen here" or so.

Nah.. They still aren't.. Hopefully it gets worse and they are forced to change their schedule around for the most important thing, money.

They are trying to listen more now than before. That much is clear. Is it too late? Dunno. Are they listening too little? Dunno.

However these are the same people that made a great game to begin with, so there is some hope.

These developers are not transparent enough with future plans. That is a huge problem. Be more transparent BHVR.

There are more ways to be transparent. Not just upcoming plans.

I won’t believe that they are really listening until they share the results of the survey. How do we know that future changes are based on popular community feedback or just more of what the devs think is best for the game? Unless the results are made public, we have no idea.

They listen. They just usually ignore it.

Not everything is unreasonable, It's just not a priority for them, I.E colourblind mode.

There are plenty of of quality issues that are not unreasonable that could be implemented, that are in the No or in the Soon basket.

Half the "development" goes into creating things to create money, rather than improving things in the game.

It blows my mind that comms are not in the game, it makes solo-q ridiculous.

Maybe think about it again, comms are already in the game without BHvR doing anything. So this bad idea..... is already in the game.

    1. No, there are no alternatives for solo players to have voice comms. What precludes SWFS from using in game comms? Good attempt at a strawman.
    2. Solo can communicate with the SWF..... if BHvR just adds comms. SWF can use the in game comms to communicate with solo. I play with friends on discord and communicate using in game comms on other games................ all the time.
    3. Yes, this is an issue. BHvR can add universal emotes.
    4. So don't. Add a mute function. Not everyone wants to read brain dead strawmen arguments on the forums either.
    5. Mute function. The immersive players are already at a disadvantage. I'm sure they're fine with that. I'm not sure why you bring up the disadvantage as if it's a detriment to adding comms, when it's a detriment to not having comms. Almost like you're pushing an agenda.
    6. Mute function. Streamers play games like EFT which has open voice chat too. Another strawman. Another made up disadvantage.
    7. Comms is the most OP perk in the game. Its like 30 perks all in one. A simple "Ghostface is on me by tractor" tells teammates many things. Killer is ghostface, by tractor, in a chase, chasing this teammate who has these perks. Your one anecdotal story is just simply another strawman.

Especially point 4-6 should be noted. Nobody should be at a disadvantage because they don't have comms for whatever reason.

But, in the end, this whole discussion is pointless. All your points were strawmen.
