Playing as solos is PERFECTLY fine.

Stats are cool... yeah yeah I get it you want every single person to stream live gameplay across a long period of time so you can say I have proof and even then you just say "you derank of stream" it's a pathetic circle but the stats wasnt made up. If you really think Escaping 3 times dying once and then on the odd time Escaping twice and dying is so unrealistic then I'm not sure what to tell you.
Yet another person assuming I'm a killer main when killers lucky to get played. I get you're a survivor main and want more buffs but you didnt even try have a discussion. Yet again how does making perks base kit stop salty players quitting? Or farming challenges? Oh it doesnt.
You're just a bad survivor main who wants more free info and perks, you cant even admit DH is too strong and you think its completely fine. Some of us want a better balance game.

About time! someone else who isnt completely mad lol
I'm not sure why so many people dont get it

DH too strong? This says it all on what kind of killer you are....you want survivors just to stand under the hook to make it easy?
Trust me i suck at chasing, and i to miss when DH is used, just to catch them 10 seconds later... players complaining about DH is just sad and tells you all you need to know on what kind of player it is....the one who just wants easy kills as soon as possible.
I recently thought of a new hex for killers who hate DH....at the start of the game, all survivors spawn under a hook, they cant move for 2 minutes and there aura is visable for the killer....maybe all DH/DS/BT haters should ask for this hex to be made by BHVR

The issue isn't that you need communication to play well in solos.
The issue is that communication is extremely powerful in this game, and having/not having it has an enormous statistical effect on escape rate. This creates an impossible balance situation, where either solos or killers end up getting a boot to the gonads.
Giving solos some rudimentary communication tools or at least the status icons shown a bit back should help to close this gap slightly, making killers a bit easier to balance.

Maybe they´re not killer mains and play both sides equally.

Solo queue is fine most of the time.
But sometimes you just have one of "those" days. Like mine today... which started with me being gold 1 with 4 pips and uhh yeah, this is how its going:
1 -
Stop talking about your fake escape rate lmao
2 -
The most true statement I've heard regarding solo cue
4 -
So what I'm hearing is solo cue is perfect in every way despite being left on hook to die after looping for quite a bit, teammates refusing to heal you and lead the killer back to you, or straight up sandbagging to oblivion? Got it

like me solo can be hard or easy matter how the teams work together,I said many time solo can act like a swf group.
been there.

I actually play far more survivor which is the funny thing. It gets more and more survivor as it goes on, especially if those mmr tests go through. I had long queues and very unfun/balanced matched as killer and survivor got boring so I might just quit 😂
Kinda of topic but I haven't seen perks like that used in ages lol. But yeah DCs need to be sorted and camping certainly need to be discouraged and punished while rewarding those who dont

As a purely solo player, gotta agree.
It really comes down to the player. I've had some amazing games as a Solo where everyone comes together and each person plays well, does gens, has the awareness of when to go for hook saves, takes protection hits on the way to the gates for a teammate, etc. Its a really nice feeling compared to if I was in a group with constant communication and killer whereabouts. Even better when the killer asks or implies at end-game chat that we were in a group.
Also had games where people do exactly what OP said and just hide/walk around for the first little bit/not progress the game. When its like that, there isn't much you can do. Gotta realize not everyone plays like you, and thats ok!

Yeah i´ve found myself playing more and more survivor. Because its still less stress than the killer role (even solo queue). Even when i have matches like the ones on the screenshots.
I´m testing out some builds. Since Flip-Flop was in the last shrine. Surprisingly, Boil over is still pretty strong. Even when most players dropped it like a hot potatoe.
Currently i´m trying to find out if hitting the killer with Power Struggle gives WGLF stacks. It shouldn´t, but i got the achivement of "hitting 5 killers with a pallet, while they carry a survivor" when i actually just hit the killer who carried me.

Yeah same reason as me, well that's one reason theres quite a few but the main one is no matter the day or how I'm feeling survivor will be more fun and relaxing.
Oh that's fair, it's a shame I never see many perks used. I quite enjoy power struggle even if it's hard to pull off. I never used boil over, assume most dropped it when it wasnt abusable anymore.
Sadly I dont think it will, WGLF requires a unhook, flashlight save or protection hit of another survivor. But it's an interesting thought, definitely keep me updated on it!

As much as those "killer mains" who show up on here and say they 4k every match as perkless clown are totally killer mains.

So a normal day in the neighborhood?

No... solo q is not fine lol. You very clearly defined why it's not. Yes, the reasons you listed are the problems, but you can't just exclude them.
No, perks and buffs inherently should not be what solves those problems. But you can't change human nature, and you also can't deny that SWF has an egregious advantage compared to most survivors. It's why good solo q players look for squads - to not roll the dice with solo q ridiculousness.
The entire reason solo q is a nightmare is because killers have a huge advantage over them, which only grows with buffs and new perks, while also having the predicament of being very weak to SWFs. It's this weird power imbalance for everyone that isn't a squad. So, the next best alternative is to buff solo q, then buff killers accordingly.

I don't understand how anyone can find solo survivor relaxing. I have better times as a killer with a bully squad than with teammates less gifted than a monkey • -•

We kinda have a little of everything here.

Yep

Most of my survivor play is solo and for the most part its just plain fun. I don't always escape but who cares if I don't, if I can die thematically and/or heroicly it can be just as fun as running loops and getting out.
You see the main complaints about solo play are always the same kind of thing.
People want it to be as viable as a coordinated team on comms would be.
Name any online PVP experience where a solo PUG is on par with coordinated team on comms in a group play experience? It doesn't exist.
If you can't handle players with different experience to you, different playstyles to you, different goals to you, different ideas of what's fun to you, without getting all pissy and bent out of shape about it then maybe the solo play experience isn't for you. (This is a general statement not directed at anyone in particular)
The whole lets make mechanics to buff solo play so that you can face off against a killer 1v1 only results in uber buffing SWF through the moon.
If teams on comms are getting a significantly higher escape rate, which we know they are behaviour said it themselves, then maybe they should be looking at imposing some kind of self limiting element to group play. Its not punishing people for group play to rebalance things a lil when people are grouped up, especially given the potential advantage it can give.
Now I should qualify that suggestion with... I personally have no idea what form that mechanic would take and whether it would even really work other than to disuade people from playing with their friends, which is not a good thing either.

Of course they escape. They have thousand of hours as killers and play as surv once per month and play against 10 hours killers
