Is MMR going away?
I genuinely miss having fun playing this game, MMR actually made dbd so unbelievably stressful and unfun. This game simply falls apart at high level play. Killers face camp the first person they down and then use NOED to get one or two extra kills. Survivors just drop every pallet as soon as they get it and wait for you to break it.
I want to go on fun chases again. I want to play against people that play for fun. I just want to be able to play this game without getting stressed out.

We all wish.

Exactly.

Probably not.
The problem actually isn’t with the system itself. It would work fine if there were enough killer players. But since there aren’t, SBMM will match a killer against whatever survivor group is next in queue regardless of their MMR.

I'm hoping that all these matchmaking tests mean they're either considering heavily reworking it or dropping it and going back to the old system. I'm right there with you though.

hoping it is

No thanks, MMR made solo queue better but now it's the same level killers but unexperienced survivors that go down to a Michael in 10 seconds in the farm map of all places.

the ######### kinda solo queue have you been playing mmr only managed to make it worse

probaply not.
the best chance we have is that the Devs finally introduce a "Casual Mode" and "Competetive Mode", one with and one without MMR.

I think I'm in upper-mid to high MMR range, during MMR I do usually get decent survivors but during the tests(Test 2 a bit of exception) it's been atrocious. I'm getting matched with very unexperienced survivors and pretty decent killers.
It's so annoying when you can drag the chase for a reasonable time then killer leaves you and proceeds to down and hook everyone one by one in the next 3 minutes and you end up just unhooking everyone for the rest of the game until they all die.

I personally hope what ever they did for the April 7th test is what they implement it felt good not too sweaty but not too "ew baby survivors" you know, like today, I've gotten nothing but baby Survivors, on both sides.

Actually very good take. One queue for MMR games, one queue for non-MMR games.
Wonder how long it will take for the MMR queue to completely die?

Judging by the recent Player Satisfaction Survey, if they introduce a non-MMR mode, it won't reward Bloodpoints. If it doesn't reward BP, it's also probable it won't work with Tome Challenges or Daily Rituals.

I'd probably still play in the casual queue 90% of the time. If I want BP for perks and such, I'll go farm in the MMR queue for a few hours and then go back to the casual queue.
