Let Killers snuff Hexes.

Doing so will randomly spawn it onto any dull totem on the map.

Great for fixing bad spawns and the Killer can move their totem if its clear the Survivors know where it is.

Undying basically already does this. Plus being able to move your totem around indefinitely would mean all the risk/reward factor of it would be removed. Hook a survivor next to your totem? It's alright I'll just move it. Oh this guy knows where my totem is? It's fine I'll just move it somewhere else.

Well the alternative is tunneling the survivor that knows out of the game, so it's not really that bad of a solution.

Doing that will probably make you lose more than losing the totem in all honesty. There's a reason totems have fixed spawns and don't move around. Even with Undying, changing that one totem can legitimately extend its life by a long time. So being able to do this at will potentially as many times at you want would be really dumb.

I would have preferred a different change, one that buffs Hex in general and a nerf to Boons.

I would have preferred if Boon Totems can no longer destroy Hex; but instead just disable it; until the killer finds the Boon and snuff it.

This creates a dynamic risk/reward; in which Survivors need to destroy Totems instead of Blessing; in order to completely shut down a killer's Hex. As for killer, it quite convinced for them, as one Survivor is wasting their time Blessing and blessing a Totems in order to keep the hex inactive instead being the smart cookie and just destroy it, and sacrifice a precious totem spawn.

An interesting change I think of that would require some work around is: make all hex perks as strong as the number of totems in the trial.

For instance, Hex: Ruin could act like that:

    • 5 totems: 200% regression speed
    • 4 totems: 175% regression speed
    • 3 totems: 150% regression speed
    • 2 totems: 125% regression speed
    • 1 totem: 100% regression speed
    • 0 totem: no more ruin.

I'm not saying it's perfect, but I find this idea interesting in the optic of fixing hex perks' rng.
