Before changes can be made to Broken, No Mither needs one: When the Exit Gates are powered, No Mither no longer applies Broken.

Broken: Survivors cannot heal themself, nor be healed by other survivors. Survivors afflicted with Broken cannot exit the trial (only hatch).

Every perk giving the broken status effect would have to be looked into when they're arguably all fine as they are, and Plague would be reworked from scratch

Forced Penance applies the Broken status effects to survivors who take Protection Hits.
When are survivors most likely to take Protection Hits? At the end of the trial.
When is the Broken status effect the least useful? At the end of the trial.

I suggested Forced Penance putting survivors who take Protection Hits into the dying state once the Exits have been powered, but no one (no survivors) wanted that.

Broken is fine. It's just that the perks that use it suck. If you don't get a protection hit from Forced Penance, it literally never comes into play.

If anything, not leaving the trial should be a feature of the (quickly forgotten) incapacitated status effect. Makes a lot more sense. As others above said, broken is fine as is.

The thing about Blindness is that it’s actually effective against average survivors but weak against survivors with strong awareness and survivors with good coordination on comms. So if you did just give it a straight up buff it might be too powerful against average solo survivors. You would want to somehow give it a buff that impacts mainly people on comms but not solo survivors, I’m not sure how to do that though. 🤷♂️

Blindness physically fogging up terrain outside of X meters could be interesting. Make it so Survivors will almost always hear killers before seeing them, unless they're already breathing down their necks.

Make blindness put survivors into 1st person for it's duration.

Blindness could use some additional effect like blurred out distance or black/blurry edges of the survivors view (similar to Legions fatigue)
Exhaustion is another Status effect that could get some additional effects like slower vaulting speed or heavier breathing
others are fine. Luck needs a whole rework, but that’s not a status effect per se, is it?
