There should be bots
After watching Dowsey's video, I realize that the only way Killer will be happy playing this game is if they had the option to play bots as well as people. If both sides are equally skilled, a portion killer players are not going to have fun playing the game. They want to be able to 4k every game and that is fine, but they shouldn't be able to 4k actual players because that's just bad game design. However, if they had the option to switch and play against bots, then it satisfies this need to 4k. The bots should have adjustable difficulties. Dowsey's video below. You just can't make Killer not stressful and fair for everyone without bots, when you play killer against survivors, you are constantly juggling so much stuff that you have no downtime.

I also think survivor should have the option for Killer bots. This would allow survivors to play games where they know they want be tunneled-off-hook-till-dead and face-camped to death. I know there are times when I've been face-camped multiple games in a row and would like to play a normal game.

I have zero desire to play against bots
I'd quit the game before I'd accept bots being in the standard multiplayer pool of players
If you want bots for a practice mode or if you want basic bots for when someone DCs, sure, that's fine but I do not play a multiplayer game to play against a computer. If I wanted to play against a computer, I'd be playing a singleplayer game.
And no, as a killer, I don't just want 4Ks every game. I want the game to be fun. I can have a blast getting 0 Kills and I can be absolutely miserable in a 4K game depending on what is happening during said game.

You don't have to play bots if you don't want to.
I assume you are enjoying playing killer against survivors. There's a lot of killer-players on these forums, that it sounds like it's absolute misery playing killer. And the complaint boils down to, survivors need to be easier to go against.

I think bots should be there for a DC , or for custom games where you want to test new killers before a public match

Why not let people play against bots if they want. Look at League of Legends, there's plenty of people that have fun playing bot games. It's less stressful and you don't have to worry about the game being balanced. You can 4k bots all day long if you want.

I would love a bot mode where you can choose to v bots. Make it like For Honor where if you choose to go against bots you still get BP, XP, in game currency, progress in rifts, progress in challenges, get seasonal rewards, etc. It'd be a real casual mode, they could could have the bots have a variety of load outs and they could make it so bots wouldn't do unfun playstyles like slugging until bleedout, camping, survivors hiding in corners, etc.

In paladins too, people complete quests against bots (battle pass quests).
At this point, I agree with everything you said in the post, especially regarding killers versus bot survivors.
