Why do I lose pips as a survivor in the tunnel meta?
Basement bubbas, tunnelers... just don't understand losing pips in those games. I think with the new grade system, it should always be 0,1 or 2 pips. No need to lose pips anymore.
That's all.
Basically, I really don't have time to grind to grade 1 and I am complaining. I still think it's a good change.

Because only kills count as skill, the same way only escapes count as skill. Why? Because hockey.

The entire emblem system, on both ends, is disconnected from how games actually work. I can only hope that the fact this dinosaur of design still exists untouched, like the bloodweb, is because they have a massive overhaul in the works. Until then, I just ignore it.

You are completely right.
It is much more difficult than some think it is. You have to become kinda good in this game to pip up consistently. And pips getting harder in higher grades too.

I am just saying that you don't even sometimes get the opportunity to do the few things needed to get a zero game. For instance, I just did two gens, unhooked and got a full chase emblem and was still short of a +1. Just doesn't seem right even though I at least did not get a -1.

Yes. There is an overview somewhere. You need a fixed amount of emblempoints to pip up. And that increases in higher grades.
So to progress you need to do more and more in game. If the game is too short you can´t get that. It works that way.

Since grades are not used for matchmaking they should get rid of negative pips, there is no reason to keep them in the game. They should only have black pip, +1 pip and +2 pip.

For the same reason that your MMR decreases if you die, it doesn't matter if you held the killer for 5 gen.
Stop looking for healthy logic at BHVR ; they haven't had one for a long time.
