How do you use Doctor antiloop? Seem like it's just meme
Doctor slow himself down so much to the point where survivor can just keep looping for 2-3 time until the pallet is drop, so it's literally the same with normal m1 killer or even worst, as a normal m1 killer if you run loop tide you might get pallet drop faster then doctor cringe shock

are you timing your shocks right? you're meant to shock before a survivor reaches a pallet or window, since it disables their ability to use those for a few seconds. when i first played him i just shocked over and over regardless of where the survivor was which doesn't work well at all

Don't spam the shock, use it when you think they're about to drop the pallet or vault the window. e.g. "Drop it or you get hit" is replaced by "Juke my shock or get hit", since if they go for the pallet drop they get shocked and hit.

But problem is, when you think your time your shock right, survivor just keep running, so your shock does no effect, now she can continue to loop, and you are now a normal m1

If you think you timed your shock right and you didn't get a hit out of it, you didn't time your shock right. There's a trick to it, and I'm certainly not the best doc ever, but his anti-loop takes a lot of skill to get value out of it.

Time your shock right is depends on survivor action too? Lol. You talking like if timed shock right I will 100% get hit, if the survivor just keep running, how do you even time your shock? Only way for survivor to get effected by shock is they stop for pallet drop. Or maybe the doctor mostly work ONCE the pallet drop? Because in that case I haven't try it,

You gotta know your loops and it is kinda dependent on some of the choices survivors make.
This is why he's not a high tier killer. He's got anti-loop but it's not really strong as there's the drawback(slowing himself down) and on certain loops, survivors can definitely just keep moving or fake out your shocks.
Certain loops are death traps for survivors though. If a survivor decides to hang around smaller loops with pallets, they are most certainly going down. Big loops are tougher and if you mistime or miss you get ######### pretty hard.
The best larger loops to shock at are the ones where the survivor is funneled into the pallet/window where they can't just keep looping if you shock them.

Shock a year and a half before you think you should. Latency makes the timing really tricky.

Doctors can anti-loop but especially with smooth semi-small loops, survivors can get quite a few loops out of them if played properly before you get a hit.

You need to either time the blast so that it goes off just before they reach the pallet, stopping the drop action, or timing it to go off as they are dropping it, to stop them from doubling back over. Timed correctly you will be able to beat them around the pallet before they finish the loop and the shock effect is finished. If you find this isn't happening, then you are mistiming your shocks.

I have never heard anyone recommend Beast of Prey, in any situation before. I don't know if I agree with it, but you do have a point about an interesting interaction with a specific killer.
I find that really neat, thank you!

to be fair OP, his base shock is kinda rough lol. if you use his addon that reduces the shock delay, youll notice that it feels much better to use. but yeah, its an addon :/

One of the most efficient ways to use his anti loop is use range and a shock delay addon. You can fake shocks to make people green then actually shock so they cant throw the pallet so you catch up by the time they loop back around to it.

Also in addition to shocking before they get to a pallet, if it’s a pallet at a loop you can run around hen you can intentionally shock them right as they reach it and continue running around it. A lot of the time they will drop the pallet, be shocked immediately afterward, and be unable to vault back over as you round the corner of the obstacle giving you a free hit,

You have to use Discipline - Carter's Notes to make your shock faster, and you still have to preemptive the shock so that the survivors' preemptively commiting to a vault/pallet drop action on their end doesn't beat out your shock. But absolutely, without his best add-ons, Doctor's anti-loop always wastes as much time as it saves.

Takes a lot of skill, in other words it isn't good. It's based more on luck and how the survivor's playing more than anything else. How else do you justify a killer hitting a survivor with their power 5-7 times at a loop and not getting a down, let alone an injure?

yeah pretty much. big time investment to get just a single hit without even burning a pallet. didn't say his anti-loop was good, it just seemed to me like OP doesn't understand how the killer's power works and wants to blame everything but himself.

The combination of charging time + slowdown + the one second Detonation Delay, makes timing the Doctor's Shock Therapy attack a guessing game for the most part. Even pro streamers typically just M1 Survivors down, rather than being able to use Shock Therapy with any sort of consistency.
Much like several other Killers, the Doctor could stand a bit of a rework, but I suspect that's a long way off (if ever).

That's an easy accusation to make. I never looked at OP's post with that mindset.

Most of the time, if you want to make his power really work as antiloop with consistency, you will want to use double discipline addons

You have to shock with the right anticipation to lock them out of being able of performing an action. Discipline add-ons make the timing trivial.
Don't do that at pallets, though. You can guarantee a hit, but it takes too long.
Wait to be somewhat close before shocking (roughly a little outside lunge range). If you can trigger the shock before going through the pallet, do it. Otherwise, just tap m2 to fake it. This will bait them into running instead of dropping.
If they pre-drop, so be it. In general, if the pallet is semi-safe, you have to shock and mindgame to lock them on one side as they drop it (or vault it if it's already down) as you double back.
