suggestions for 2 Killers (The Trench Raider and The Fallen)
Greetings all, I thought of these 2 killer ideas that I think cold be good, of course I would love any feedback, trying to think of more history based ideas given my background as a historian, please enjoy!
The Trench Raider
Lore: Karl Stoltz was an average German man of his era, not overly wealthy and working in a factory, but he did have a streak of patriotism towards his country and empire. In August 1914 his country went to war and like many men in his generation Karl instantly quit his job and joined the military.
The next 3 and a half years transformed Karl was an average timid man into a cold blooded killer on the verge of an absolute psychotic breakdown. Karl had managed to earn a handful of medals and some promotions at the cost of his own humanity as he had been wounded badly several times and he had to do things to survive that would make the normal person wince in disgust. The conflict had changed Karl's personality too, as the war progressed he became more and more cruel to other people, even to the point of starting fights and being belligerent towards locals when on leave. Karl did have a friend though named Heinrich who did manage to keep him somewhat grounded in reality, in at least from keeping him from having a full breakdown, they had a sort of yin and yang relationship.
in Spring 1918 though everything was about to change with the launching of the German Kaiserschlacht offensive. Karl's unit one day was ordered to charge across No man's land towards the British trench. Karl and Heinrich both managed to make it to the edge of the trench completely unscathed while the rest of their unit was cut down by British rifles and machine gun fire. Karl entered the trench first and he turned to help Heinrich through the cut barbed wire but as Heinrich was almost into the trench a British rifle shot rang out and took the top half of his head off with a red explosion. Heinrich's body fell into the trench next to Karl, who was now covered in Heinrich's blood and brains.
As Karl looked down at Heinrich's dead body the last bit of his sanity left as he finally snapped. he let out a loud yell and went ballistic in the British trench. Karl ran up and down the trench looking for enemies and when he found one he savagely beat them into an unrecognizable pulp with his spiked trench club. Karl was shot multiple times during this but he completely ignored the pain and damage from the bullets as he only had tunnel vision at that point to destroy every enemy he could find. When Karl believed he had killed the last British soldier he stood there for a second admiring his work and then went to find more but the loud explosion of artillery was heard over the trench. The Germans had believed all their men had died in the charge and had ordered an artillery barrage on the enemy trench. The German artillery shredded Karl's body and flung him far into the trench lines where he laid peppered with holes from the blast, profusely bleeding and dying. Blood gurgled from Karl's mouth under his gas mask as he sat there preparing for death, when suddenly a black mist surrounded the dying German
When the barrage ended some British survivors ventured into the trench to try and find the German who had been slaughtering their comrades, however they found no German body, just a blood soaked outline and light dissipating black mist.
Primary Weapon: A spiked trench club
Primary Power: A 6 shot revolver, each hit from it is the equivalent of one hit from the primary weapon however it has a 5 second cooldown after use and cannot be reloaded (potential for reload but for the sake of balance it would have to be very slow)
Perks:
Unmatched Brutality: damaging of generators will cause them to regress faster and require more difficult skill checks to get them running
Hollow tip bullets: getting shot from the power causes the haemorrhage status effect until healed
Insatiable Bloodlust: if a survivor escapes from a hook twice the next time they are downed the entity gives you permission to fulfill your bloodlust and bludgeon them to death with the trench club
Physical Description: a ww1 m1910 or m915 uniform that is damaged from the artillery blast and gun wounds with bloods and possibly body parts shown through the holes. a German m1916 Stahlhelm and a m1917 gas mask complete the face along with the field gear on the uniform, the primary weapon being a classic spiked trench club that has seen lots of wear and use with the primary power weapon being an m1879 Reichsrevolver

The Fallen
Lore: Thomas Arnold was a man who had major trust issues. During his life his parents took advantage of his trusting nature and had him commit small crimes for them until they were caught. Later in life Thomas got married and opened a store with his business partner James Scott and his wife even got pregnant. His life however came crashing down when his wife gave birth and it turned out the baby was not his, his wife had cheated on him with his best friend Peter, Thomas then wen to work only to find out his business partner had sold the store to a competing business without consulting him. Thomas's world was crushed, he sat on top of a bridge contemplating killing himself when the unexpected happened, a black mist encompassed him.
When the mist had dissipated Thomas found himself around a campfire with several strangers. Thomas was a survivor for many trials and while he never remembered each trial, always ending up back at the campfire, his mistrust for all those around him grew and grew with each trial, after all how would he know that they wouldn't betray him at first chance like everyone else in his life? His future took a drastic turn during one trial.
Thomas was being hunted by the Hillbilly and he found himself hiding with another survivor by a locker, the hillbilly was nearby and Thomas made a choice that changed everything, Thomas grabbed the other survivor and stepped out from cover and shouted to gain the Hillbilly's attention at which point Thomas threw down the other survivor at the Hillbilly's feet. This act took both the Hillbilly and the Entity by surprise as such an act have never occurred during a trial before. At that moment the Entity realized it had made a mistake with Thomas and switched him from survivor to killer
Primary Weapon: A Stiletto
Primary Power: Incognito mode, switches the controls and movement to that of survivor so that he can move and crouch and blend in like a survivor, however he has to go back into killer mode before being able to attack.
Perks:
Inside Knowledge: due to his memories as a survivor when he damaged a generator it regresses faster and requires more skill checks
Vague Memories: there's a 50% chance that when he gets to a tossed pallet he will vault it as he vaguely remembered doing in his survivor days
Friends on the other side: he has been in the trial grounds so long that the crows have become familiar with him, starling crows gives him a visible notification

these are just 2 ideas I had, I welcome criticism and any ideas to pick them apart, hope you all enjoyed reading!

Inside Knowledge = Unmatched Brutality, which when I first read Brutality, I thought it was too weak because perks in game can already do them. Ruin for regression, Unnerving Presence for the skill checks. Call of Brine also does regression, and in the same way you described yours.
Vague Memories is an add-on NOT a perk, the same goes for Hollow Tip Bullets.
Insatiable Bloodlust is literally the entire effect of the Ebony Memento Mori, which is an offering.
Friends on the Other Side = Spies from the Shadows, a perk already in game.
You did well on lore, and the powers for both are quite interesting, but perks are something you need to find a gap for. For instance, what if there was a Scourge Hook perk that gave Deep Wound to the rescued Survivor out-right? It could be "Scourge Hook : Infecting Shrapnel" or something along those lines. There are plenty more things out there that have yet to be thought up, and perks can relate to lore, powers, or simply be something new to change the field. I hope you can find some of those gaps and patch them with ideas! And yes, you may steal the Scourge Hook example I've given, I have no qualms with you doing so, and I hope you have fun making other ideas along the way.

Thank you for your reply! I will admit perks gave me the most trouble as I found flushing out lore and powers the easiest task and I should have put more thought and research into perks prior to posting, I will likely get them reworked here, thanks for the suggestion too! It’s quite fascinating

Oh, I feel like I should specify what I mean by "can relate to...powers..." exactly. I don't mean that they enhance the power of a Killer, but they can do something that their power would feasibly do to the environment.
