On the verge of quitting
This game has too many issues, MMR, toxic survivors, extreme imbalance. I could go on for hours with how many issues the game has.
Even when I play survivor I get tunneled constantly and have to deal with horrible teammates. Don't even get me started on unfun killers.
All and all, I'm starting to lose the want to play this game.
This is not what I payed for. I paid for Dead By Daylight, not whatever this imbalanced mess is. I just want my game back, and I know a lot of other people do too.

Probably what I am going to do. I started Fortnite and Apex again and I am having a blast.

I just got into Valorant for the first time and even though I'm garbage, it's fun and really want to get better at it. Also my next waifu is most likely in that one as I just had to dump my previous one as heartbreaking as it is.

I would argue that the game was more balanced when infinites and five blink nurse were in the game.

Another thing is the terrible optimization. I should be able to bump into a wall as Blight without having a seven-second freeze.

I guess I'm just the lucky few and don't play the game daily enough to encounter much tunnelling, camping, hackers etc.
That's why I still like playing this game.
Apex and Valorant are some good games you choose to play again.

Same here, out of 10 games 7 have been against nurse. I got a teamkiller, a lot of DC's and everyone just gives up. When playing killer all I get is full meta swf's...😪 #FUN😃

I believe it will have it. If I do happen to get it and it does have cross play, my username will likely be deadbydadamlol (my PSN gamertag)

Yeah I just wish the devs would fix their game. Literally we don't want another Feng cosmetic, we want actual patches and balance updates that will improve the fun off the game.

No. Anybody who says "X is/was the best time in DBD", no. it. was. not! The game has yet to hit its golden age, because so far its massive potential has been put to waste.

The new animations actually would have been great for modernizing the game, but nobody wanted them. Want to know the best argument people had for getting rid of them? "They look like they have to poop." Those are the kinds of immature people who have the devs' ear, deciding the balance of the game.

Yeah. I stopped playing. I just started the game few days ago. I'm using some yellow perk while all 4 of the survivor are using all the "2nd/3rd chance" perks. how would this be fun? Your killer base is also part of the population.

The devs were already immature about the animations, didn't need to listen to any survivor mains. They straight up said they wanted teabagging to still be satisfying when they designed the animations

If Fortnight has become more appealing than DBD then that really shows how low people's opinion of DBD has become.
I do think DBD is improving though (as glacial as that might be). There may be MMR improvements on their way but I can't see optimisation for last gen happening now people are moving to the newer consoles unfortuantely.

How MMR works, you just have to hope that you lose enough to where it puts you with survivors who are also still learning. Then you can start playing for real instead of getting bullied by people way out of your league. I haven't faced inexperienced survivors like that in forever since my MMR must be sky high.

Yeah, I'll try to slide tech by looking down, and suddenly my camera jerks up because I bumped even though it's supposed to be a slidey surface, and I'm totally disoriented in addition to the freeze, allowing the survivor to get huge distance on me instead of the other way around. Same thing with bumping near a survivor, because you do an attack that's literally right in front of you where the survivor is, yet somehow they don't get hit. Maybe it's me missing, or maybe it's the freeze/camera jerk/aim dress combo, but I'm so tired of it.

Yeah I feel you with all of this, I have quit but have been hanging on as I have stopped for nearly a year at one point but returned a couple of times now. But this time I think I may actually be done, or at least not ever return to playing a couple of hours a day every day and til dawn on my days off work. Unfun killers, a stale and toxic meta and survivor sided game play sucked the fun out of the game for me personally.
Besides this game not being what it once was, I am feeling that there are a lot of other great games out there and there and sinking too many hours into one game is a waste.

A game is supposed to be interesting and/or fun.
Yesterday I went against another SWF with the shadow step and iron combo, on a corn map to top it off : Boons have killed my will to play and don't think I'll play for a while. (Not like I don't have hundred of other games I've not even launched once in my Steam library alone.)
