An easy sign to turn the game off and on again
So for the first time I got a match where survivors at the last second switched to a different survivor with flashlights which I didn't have lightborn on my killer so I did the next best thing quit the game and turned it back on it's the number one sign that your going to deal with a bully squad if I had lightborn I would try playing but no I didn't so quit and restart. I already I can hear them the survivor mains screaming saying that it shows I'm a baby killer if I can't handle a flashlight squad.

Or, they actually want to be able to use an item they bought in the blood web or found in a trial? Weird concept, I know. I bet you’d love if one of your killer add-ons just didn’t work in a match (and instead revealed your aura), simply because a survivor equipped a perk.

Fair, honestly.
Switching to a diffrent survivor last second AND with an item (presumably a strong flashlight or a toolbox with brand new part) is just scummy.
Bonus points if it's not a single person, or they switch into a prestige 3 or prestige 3 claudette

I’m glad the two of yas are fortune tellers. Not sure why you’re playing DbD when you could be making bank telling us who people are just based on switching survivors!
Not to mention, one survivor is mentioned but multiple flashlights. So it’s rather unclear if it was one or multiple people.

4 flashlights = easy win if you’re a good killer. They will try to save their teammates instead of doing gens so face a wall while picking up or fake it so they show themselves.

This, it annoys me how the killer is allowed to see survivor addons before the match even begins, takes the fun out of it.

Survivor addons? No. Just the item. And it's 4v1. The fact you believe that the 1 shouldn't be able to try and prep for what the 4 are bringing in is just ridiculous. Stop playing only half the game and actually rise in ranks on killer. You won't be saying stuff like that.

To me the pre-game lobby is outdated and bad for several reasons, and really just needs to be wiped at this point. It’s so unimportant that the DbD mobile team implemented an entirely new one where neither side can switch anything after queuing. You know, ready meaning ready when you begin searching for a match.
Not, ‘I don’t like this or that survivor or item, peace.’ Especially since this screws over the current MMR matchmaking (more than it already is).
You don’t like flashlights or other items, you have plenty of ways to deal with them. Equip your uncounterable perk beforehand if it really bothers you that much.

That's fair.
If I see survivors last second switching to flashlights, I also disconnect on the loading screen.
If someone is gonna try to be smart and last second switch, they can go do that to the next lobby.

Honestly, I weirdly kind of enjoy when that happens
For one, I know that anything that happens in that game is kind of null and void. If I get my arse handed to me, so be it. That's probably more of a "me" mindset than anything but I know that these four are going to be sweaty edgelords of jerkdom and play accordingly. Which is where the fun begins...
I do my very best to be a "fair" killer. No tunnel, no camping, no slugging, etc except in very rare circumstances. But if you pull that kind of stunt on me? You best believe I'm going to do my very best to take some of you down with me. It helps too because you know if they're doing that, you know exactly what they're going to be trying to do all match and can flip it on them (pick up always facing walls or fake pickups and wait for the flashlight guy to pop out so you can slap them).
I had a game like that a few weeks ago where I ultimately slug everyone and let them play "Lie here on the floor" simulator. They needed to be given a time out and time to think about what they did 😈

When you win against a Nurse player and they're mad, saying all sorts of things and wanting to play against me again. Then the next game's map offering is autohaven.

Never understood last second switch. I never did it as survivor. I either bring items or not, it is not like you are going to be dodged by every killer or that franklins will be used every match. I rarely see franklins and I bring items every game now.
I am sorry but I find it really disrespectful and it reminds me of the wannabe cool kids who want to be like their streamer so they do it. You are not cool by doing it, it is cringe honestly.
Either bring an item or don't. Also in most cases people who last second switch are the ones who bm from what I have seen.

Fair enough after all there's really no penalty besides the survivors getting a long screen and you restarting the game
