Hex: Huntress Lullaby rework

Your hunt is an irresistible song of dread which muddles your prey's attention.

Survivors recieve a 2/4/6% regression penalty on failed Skill Checks for Repair and Healing actions. Additionally, these actions will spawn two continuous Skill Checks.

Hex: Huntress Lullaby grows in power each time you Hook a Survivor, gaining 1 token, up to a maximum of 3, and affecting Repair and Healing Skill Checks.

Each token shortens the time between the warning sound and the Skill Check by 33%, as well as adds an additional continuous Skill Check.

The hex effects persist as long as the related Hex Totem is standing.

"That song, it drives me crazy!"

I appreciate this version, but I believe the perk needs to have a little more meat on its bones - while also having use right away.

It isn't Devour Hope, it doesn't need to take until mid/late game to ramp up to viability.

There honestly needs to be a small effect that is present at the beginning of the match that ramps up into the mid game over time.

Maybe continous skillchecks would be too much (especially with doctor). But i'd gladly take a lullaby that would activate in three tokens instead of five. I'm happy to see i'm not the only one wanting this perk buffed.

Well I was thinking that the small effect should be that at the start survivors would have to do 2 skill checks in a row, then after every hook it would be 3, 4 and then 5 skill checks in a row like I said in my post.

That way, killers have more opportunity to make survivors miss skill checks and it would synergies with killers like Doctor and perks like Tinkerer. It would also only require three tokens for max power, making it less work than Devour Hope.

I agree though, this perk needs some attention to bring it to modern standards.

    3 things - all sad.

    1.) Miscommunication :(

I see what you mean, but what I'm saying is that the perk really needs something very strong and a high threat to pull survivors off of generators and scare them out of healing until they can cleanse the Hex. As it stands, the perk is nearly useless until 3 hooks at the very least, and doesn't even gain momentum until 5 hooks in - which is often towards the mid/late-game when a snowball has had a lot of chances to be melted and precious few moments to find use. I think your version is good, I just think it needs more teeth.

    2.) Doctor :(

This perk does not effect doctor skill checks. One of the developers got messed up by a Doctor with this perk and had it changed. it no longer has synergy with his kit.

    3.) The Golden Age :(

While I wish that Behavior would make a big splash with perks like this, I'm afraid that we're going to have to sit and see if Huntress perks ever will get noticed by anyone up top.
