Can we just remove End Game Chat.
Now, now, before someone thinks I had a bad experience, I didn't. I'm simply tired of everything in the English language and further being censored.
Reasons why we should.
-Censoring is awful because even the smallest things like "Haddionfield" are censored.
-End Game chat is only for Salt or gg's serves no real purpose.
-It's easier to implement a sticker that says GG people click and it pastes and we move on.
There's also something that could be done here to give people extra rewards and promote a more positive environment; an example for those who play a lot and are consistently hitting, the GG sticker could get shards or something maybe even a free cosmetic item at random after a certain amount of GG sticker hits.
Will no longer be replying to this post, seems people really don't value discussion; they want to nit pick and ignore things and only use strawman arguments over actually trying to have a discussion. Quite frankly bored of it.

Sigh, that's a strawman or we could look for a way to improve chat functionality, instead of continuing to use a chat that's heavily censored because Haddionfield totally hurt peoples feelings.

Again, this is such a strawman. Why is this the go-to instead of looking for a way to improve chat functionality versus what it is right now. It's like, why should we fill the pothole in the road you can just drive around it, kinda logic. No one is saying you can't chat, but it'd be nice to see a new chat function versus everything being censored out, it's really bad compared to other games.

I think they should remove it. It's unnecessary and just eats up resources that could go towards other important things in the game.

You should be required to chat with people in the lobby for at least five messages before you're allowed to queue up again and there should be an open chat room in the lobby like the old Diablo 2 Battle net chatroom we had that was reminiscent of old AOL chatrooms.
It also needs a gem in the bottom middle so that when you click it, it changes color.

Despite your bad experience, there is actually quite a lot of fun to be had in end game chat. Some people actually enjoy the discussions about the match, talk builds, say hello to friends, and even the banter after matches. This thread's purpose is to remove those opportunities and reduce the chance to make friends online who also share an interest in DBD.

The developers have already implemented a tool for players that feel like OP: Close your own chat. Stop trying to close others.

They should add a button under settings to be able to remove it entirely, only being able to turn it back on in settings outside of the lobby and game. This way players who have a hard time with the chat do not even have the ability to open it after game. Out of sight - out of mind.

Serious question. Why don't you just hide your own chat? All you have to do is press on the chat icon 1 time and it will stay hidden until you hit it again. Why does everyone have to lose the ability to chat just because some people don't like it? i don't understand the problem.😅

I just want them to either openly stop censoring every English word in the dictionary and only censor things that are problematic not words that apply to in game things, or just remove it and add something new.

About the censoring, I agree. In my opinion you should have the ability to disable the censoring if you don't want the chat to be censored. But I don't understand why you want it to be removed. I would actually be kinda mad if they remove it. Some people may abuse it but removing the chat is a bad solution.

the chat censors everything even things that MAKES 0 SENSE so yeah it literally serves 0 purpose u cant even write.

Just click leave game if it bothers you. Half the reason why I play this game is joking around with people in chat, taking that away pretty much makes it a glorified bot match.
