"We're looking into Dead Hard"
"We're looking into Dead Hard" How long do you plan to just keep looking devs? Until the game dies? Why are you so afraid to do something about the best survivor "get out of jail free card" in the game? The killer pulls off a sick mind game in a loop (actual skill) and what does the survivor have to do? Press E to escape. And literally all killer powers are negated by the single press of a button, huntress hatchets, nemesis tentacles, doctor static blast, trapper traps, everything. DH against nurse or blight basically gives survivors a third health state. Why am i even speaking so much lol, you guys have already heard all this but still nothing is being done about this "press E to outplay" perk. It's used by 99% of survivors in the game, to the point where it feels basekit in the game. That speaks for itself.

Stop making connection-based perks, I'd say. When the connection to the server is perfect for both players, only then is Dead Hard, Head-On, and the pallet stun perks "fair" for both sides. If just one of them has bad connection, it favors the survivor. And a "bad" connection in this game is an amazing connection in any other game, meaning you have to have a ludicrously good connection to have a "good" connection in this game. We see this even with downing survivors normally, a basic function of the game, because you down them and they teleport, sometimes even allowing them to get out the exit.

looking at it doesn't mean that they are modifying that perk... not now at least... remember how many time they waited before reworking ds (almost 5 years) and how much time passed between the mori and key rework (slightly more than 1 year)...

Dead hard is one of the top most frustraiting tools Survivors have. And it does feel like base kit. At least 2 Survivors run it every game I play.

They aren't doing anything.
It's been around for five years. They don't need more time to look at it. They had five years.

Well looking at keys after the Mori change it took them a year for a lazy basic spawn rule change. Same with Mori's itself, took them 1,5-2 years iirc to just change the variable in the code that regulated the number of necessary hooks.

They said they were looking into it.
So they looked.
Yup. It's still there.
Look completed.

Probably waiting till the anniversary
Look we fixed DH, killers you can come back now?
Honestly I have no idea, I hate the lack of updates and transparency. I think its pretty clear the distance part is an issue, doesnt need much looking into

They looked. that's all
3 -
Yeah. They are looking into making it basekit. With 3 charges. And a 5 second cooldown per charge.

I do think it’s coming. Not with the anniversary, but the mid-chapter after that.
That would line up with their half-year tease-to-release process. That, and ‘big’ changed like this aren’t coming with chapter releases.

That's not true. I've had my head on ganked by lag almost as much as I've gotten it to work.

I want to say I've never successfully baited out a Head-On as killer, and I play a lot of killer. Always been hit by it. Maybe it's because I'm on console.

In many posts perhaps main killers crying about Dead Hard, here as well as on twitter. I m playing killers and i dont have any problems with it. Yes its strong perk but still i always try to bait survivor to use it. Yes its strong perk but as well killers have strong perks and not talking about adons. And what ll happen after ? If all survivors would be using sprint burst, it would be good for u guys? Always survivor ll use some exhaustion perks. Many times playing M1 killer against sprint burst players is even worse, not talking when survivors do 99 sprint burst etc.
I m playing always as solo survivor. And many killers can do bait survivor to use dead hard and make mistake. Yes i m using dead hard, but definitely against some killers like Nurse and Blight i do want to have dead hard and still loosing against good players, i m just solo survivor tho. I do meet many nurses and blights, lets say first nerf their adons and then lets talk about dead hard. As i m saying, i m not having problems with survivors using dead hard, i do play killers and most i have been playing just M1 killers. And lately great nurses players using just range adons, those r so nasty adons, omega blinks etc. U dont have too much time as survivor to make any decision ...

Ive worked in some bullshit jobs in the past. While nothing like a game developer but supervisors, managers and ceo's all share the same skill tree. When management says "We'll look into it" that's code for

Another lithe gamer Hell Yeah!
Well the % just went down some more.

Hold on a second. Just had a thought. They said they are looking into dead hard.
But they are the developers of the game, are they not looking at everything all of the time?
Did we just get bamboozled?

I also use Lithe. I also like to use Overcome + Lucky Break if I'm rocking a med kit.

I think they looked at it and realized Dead Hard provides no advantage or benefit. Buying a Survivor a two step lead over a Killer means nothing except an extra few seconds of life.
1 -
Aww-yeah!
I only use Lithe and head on when I want to try my luck at locker stuns.

9 out of 10 Dead Hard uses neither cover a mistake nor punish a sick mind game. This outcry is so painful stupid.

Dead Hard should be for avoid 1 hit, but, 90% these "dead harders" are use for gain a distance, for a pallet, windows, its the famous "dead hard for distance" everywhere, everytime, everygame. Is the same for BT, every matches still the same playstyles.
*dead hard for distance
*save with BT
*slug for wait DS time
*unbreakable or COH
This game is the same everytime.
Avoid a hit is the main propose for the perk, but, the biggest problem is the distance
