First Graders, what do you do after you got to Iridescent 1?

Once I'm iridescent 1 I just use meme builds because there's no point in trying no point of pips really

I put on meme builds like Backpack Blight and mess around to lower my MMR without deliberately throwing so that I can pip up and get that sweet juicy bloodpoint reward again the next month.

Same. My BP rewards are secured so I don't care if I win or not. If I have streamers I'll 8 hook survivors and then let them all go as long as they don't BM so we can all take advantage.

I don't really care about the grades. They just happen and I don't ever really think about them or play differently because of them. I keep playing like I normally do once I hit Iri 1.

i enjoy the game because grades dont mean anything past the bp

i try to get 5 stack Devour hope, or just screw around with survivors assuming they don't get toxic before they realize im friendly
or i just run oblivious perks and add ons and give jumpscares to everyone

After getting to Iri one, I also stop thinking about pipping mid-match.

i forget all about pips and any sour feelings that might have lingered for a while after a somewhat unfair and unfun match just disappear by the time loading screen goes away. zero f*cks given.
tbh. now that i think about it. Maybe grades should be removed entirely. Find a different way to reward time played. The whole having to pip to get the rewards (that are desperately needed with the grind) is already taking a bunch of fun out of the game. (Based on the premesis dbd is a fun party game-style game. Which I know a number of people disagree with and look at it as a sweaty competitive game.)

Interesting alot of people stop trying and some even begin to lower their mmr on purpose. I understand why people have easier games now....

I hate going through the trouble of trying to pip up. When I was bothering to reach iri 1, I was only doing it for the BP reward and I wasn't having fun. The moment I reached it, I went back to playing as normal (which means screwing around, I really don't care beyond getting a BBQ 4-stack and sometimes I'm too lazy even for that).
After a couple months of reaching iri 1, though, I realized the BP reward isn't worth the hassle. Being able to de-pip stressed me out too much, it took away any enjoyment I could have during the process because pipping didn't feel rewarding, it just felt like a momentary relief.

As if anybody plays different for the grades. That would be super cringy.

ive never cared about grades. the weird obsession people have with them is odd.
2 -
Never bothered with them

I just realized what this post meant omg Well I normally just use meme builds and farm for bps
0 -
Well it used to be used to show how "good" you are, now its free bp, so it's at least some incentive to rank for some players.

I don't care about ranking up anymore thanks to MMR, 1million BP is not worth the effort required when playing against sweaty survivors. I just do whatever I want during the game to get kills.
I'm not going to grind DBD everyday for two weeks stressing rank1 on both killer and survivor, the game isn't good enough to play that much.
Besides that, all the killers and survivors I play are already p3. If I was a new player staring down this grind I'd quit instantly.

Get the other side to Iri 1 too, and unless there's a tome to unlock or perks to grind, I don't play until rank reset.

That's why I don't believe anyone who says ranking up is easier now then it was before MMR

Now they can finally play the game.
