Nurse second/ third blink should be special attacks
It is not my idea, but it is the idea that was brought up by "QuestionedTurkey". I really liked it and decided to report it here because i think Starstruck Nurse is a bit unfair... and we never know what future insta-down perks could be implemented. Of course Nurse needs her first blink to be considered as a basic attack so she could use those perks... but her being able to use them on her second/ third blink is a bit too convenient in my opinion.

Honestly I think it's fine as is, to even get a third blink you already have to bring an addon

Hard disagree. With the second blink a hit is basically guaranteed (even more with a third one). With insta-downs, this is a bit too easy... and make it hard to balance instadown perks for all killers... when anything get busted on Nurse.

If Nurse's Blinks counted as Special Attacks, why would Nurses use anything but slowdown Perks? Nerfing Nurse this way seems like backstabbing yourself
2 -
That's why they only mentioned chain blinks.

I've yet to see a Nurse reliably get hits on her first Blink

If the Nurse gets a hit with her first blink, the survivor horribly messed up. Also. This kills synergy and diversity for no actually good reason. Exposed perks on Nurse are a non-issue.

The majority of nurse players will land a hit on their second blink. The first blink is primarily used as a set up to land the second blink, which is why her 1 blink addon is dog. So yes, only mentioning chain blinks means that nurse will almost always bring multiple slowdowns in that case

Starstruck Nurse is a bit unfair
I've got a radical idea... hear me out.
How about, you keep your distance from the Nurse when she's downed someone or picking them up? Simples.
How is it fair for a killer is next to no mobility other than her blinks to have all attack related perks nullified because you don't "counter-play" Starstruck?? Survivor's always be crying "where's the counter play", and when it's obvious enough but they don't want to do it, they still cry. Sheesh!

Starstruck is the singular most avoidable exposed perk that it is laughable when anyone complains about it. Counterplay: ‘Oh sh/%, the killer has Starstruck. I should immediately start running away from the terror radius. I now know for the next time they go to pick up another survivor.’
End of story.

Is this the next thing people will complain about nurse about?
Arent there currently discussions about her range addons? And they already nerfed how often/fast she can blink with that unnecessarey charge meter.
Fora killer that cant use normal attacks and relies on her ability to be better than a bare 115% killer, people sure want to restrict how often and how far she can move.

You both know nothing what you're talking about. In a small map, or even with just agitation starstruck nurse is oppressive. You don't just hold w and be fine. Like i said, you can't balance instadown perks because of that busted killer. At least with this change you could make strong intadown perks for killers (not hexes one) while not being overpowered on nurse. You all propose nothing.

You complain that a good killer player manages to put pressure but it's a good thing because the survivors should fear the killers in fact.
And then there's the nurse, she takes time to master, you don't come across a good nurse on every street corner.
And then you forget that the nurse is dazed and looking at the floor after her blink ends plus you can pretend to go towards her or not causing her to miss her blink.
I mean, all killers can be countered.
It is the errors of the survivors and the irresistible urge to go out systematically at 4 that allow the killers to move forward.

Sorry, you’re not going to convince me that on any map you have to be in a Nurse’s TR of a downed survivor. I already gave the counterplay to Starstruck above. You’re only going to stay there if you’re greedy for a save or to do an objective nearby. When a survivor goes down near you, and you suspect or know the killer has Starstruck:
Or alternatively, hide (one of the best techniques against Nurse).

I agree, nurse need something.
(she should of never been added in the first place tho)
2 -
The nurse is fine the way she is.
2 -
I’ll tell you what she needs: better respect and appreciation from this community!

Nah. Just a killer that breaks the game and probs holds back future balancing and making of stronger perks.
She's gonna stay and that's fine. but I never want to see a killer like her again.
Blight is super strong but at least he doesn't ignore everything.

I agree, every single perk in the game that uses a basic attack requirement is held back by the nurse.
Starstruck is mediocre at best perk on any killer other than nurse and its one of the best perks you can run on nurse, so much so that its banned for her to use it in most tournaments.
No perk that has a basic attack requirment can be buffed in a way that isn't removing the basic attack condition, that doesn't extremely disproportinately affect how it performs on the nurse vs any other killer. The only other killer that even comes close to having basic attacks that powerful is spirit, but even on her they are fine.
Nurses power should be a special attack for the same reason blights lethal rush is one. If blight could insta down with starstruck that would be incredibly broken, and I think most would agree, so why is this so controversial when nurse has a STRONGER chase power?

Err... you do know lockers are a thing, right? So even in a small map, if you get struck with starstruck (which means you're likely close enough to not proc BBQ) you can literally just wait it out in a locker. You don't HAVE to start running around in full visibility!
It's so easy to counter, I literally don't understand why you're even complaining about it.

So strange how you all are pro player survivor mains on this forums. Everything is easy to counter on every killer. Even Nurse. She's trash you know. Can't take any of you seriously.

Things I Learned... hiding in lockers (literally everywhere on small enclosed maps) is a pro-player play 😂

I wonder how long it’ll take before people realize that other killers are subpar to varying degrees and Nurse is where she should be.
