Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S
So I have Dead by Daylight on my Xbox One S. I've spent many hours in the game and well over $100. Unfortunately, my Xbox isn't in the best shape and I was planning on buying an Xbox Series X. Now I don't know much about the console so bear with me because I have a lot of questions. When setting up an Xbox Series X, would I be using the same email and password (basically the same account just on a different device) that I use on my current Xbox One S? If so, since I play with a physical copy of the game, would all my progress (in terms of character levels, cosmetics, purchases, etc.) be transferred as if nothing changed? To sum it up, if I get an Xbox Series X and sign in using the same account information used on my Xbox One S, would all of my DBD data transfer? I just don't want to make this kind of purchase if all of my progress won't save.

I think it should. It worked for me from One X to Series X.
Only one game didn't 100% transfer but it was mostly just my own error.

All progress is saved to your account, as long as you are using the same one you shall have all your stuff the same.
I'm not sure if certain disc copies have dlcs that the digital doesn't but if that is the case all you need to do is buy the DLC and all your progress will be there

Yes, all you do is sign in as your xbox one profile. So youd type in your normal email and password you use and it will load up your profile just like normal.
And then when you install and load up DBD all your stuff will still be there :)

The new xboxs feel basically the same theres not much adjustment like from the 360->xbox one
Just use your same info and you're good to go.

To answer your questions yes you can use the same email and password to be able to sign into your account and yes your dbd data transfers over since your Xbox dbd save is also in the cloud you just have to reinstall it and let it connect to the cloud
