How should we buff Sadako?
In my opinion, it should be something about looking at the TVs, atm they kinda just sit there. It would fit with the movie, and buff her a lot.

Give her the ability to phase through walls and floors when both insubstantial and in range (like what the add-ons limit it to) of a TV. Nurse Jr!

I can tell you straight up that her lullaby has got to go

-Remove lullaby, it defeats the entire point of being a stealth killer.
-Remove slowdown switching between phases. Her Demanifested isn't good enough to warrant this, she doesn't get a speed up like Wraith or anything.
-Condemn builds up passively. The survivors should need to be more worried about it than they currently are and need to waste time lowering it. I don't want Exposed added like some people have mentioned because I don't want Condemn to be more deadly, I just want it to slow the survivors down on gens with a secondary objective.
-Remove the directional queue of her teleporting. It's bad enough they get a global queue, the location as well is too much. It's not too difficult to be aware of the tv's around you, you can even hear them.
-Amp up her passive phasing to give it a little more reliability in anti-loop. Make it more frequent and last longer. I like that this also increases her skill gap of good players as they will get better at trying to time their direction changes with her disappearances.

I think her lullaby should be reduced (but not removed entirely).
Her TV cooldowns should be swapped/reduced. The cooldown after teleporting shouldn’t be longer than the cooldown for a survivor turning it off.
Could do some stuff to her passive phasing to make it better.
Condemned probably needs some more tweaks. At the very least, fully condemned survivors should be Exposed, but that alone won’t really fix it. The majority of matches against her, condemned means absolutely nothing at all/I never touch a tape unless I specifically want to disable a TV.

That's pretty much exactly what I was think. A handful of small but meaningful changes to bring her at least on par with other stealth killers

Rework her iri aura add-on and make it work like Demo one. The cassette requirement is absurd.

All i'd like is:
TV's turn back on quicker. Current is 100 and 60 for Survivors turning them off, i'd like 60 base and 30 for Survivors turning off
and her fingernail add on basekit.
Thats it. Honestly don't think she needs more than that. Once you start buffing her Condem she'll end up like Pinhead where his box + slowdown perks is too much for solo survivors to handle and you get a free mori out of it so..

Just make the active parts of her power more meaningful. I haven't seen a Sadako in Weals and when I play her now, it's oblivious her base-kit is just short-sighted in some areas ..
like why is her passive phase not as good as Spirit when Spirit uses an add-on? Her best mindgame spots are arguably spots where a killer with a TR who knows how to hide their red stain would get (I've been testing it out, demanifesting essentially means you can look at the survivor direction more rather than just using ng sounds to determine where they are in a loop and mundgaming... Same result, except now I have the slowdown of Demanifest to deal with AND it's countered by spine chill anyway which already inherently counters stealth killers so.... #########

Personally, aside from the obvious changes TVs need (or at the very least, the condemned mechanic) I would like to see it to where people who are either carrying a tape or fully Condemned have their aura visible the whole time they are at 7 stacks.
Being the miracle it is these days without almost throwing for slugs to achieve, it would only make sense, both lore wise and mechanic wise, if the killer has a bit more control on getting the survivor (who actively had to ignore the mechanic to let it get to that point in the first place) punished for not managing their macro gameplay well, which is ideally how the power is supposed to work (a push and pull mechanic, of you will).
This wouldn't even be overpowered because in the I stance they do fail to essentially do their objective against her, they still have the free win state of "well I'm close enough to the TV and at full health so this literally doesn't even matter unless they run STBFL and the Obsession is scary".
The second idea of having it effect people who carry tapes could also be very helpful without being considered OP. Seriously, you are a regular M1 killer, they took out your TV and your probably in another chase or searching somewhere else if they are bold enough to do that. Having your aura shown until you get to your TV is just more incentive to do away with the tape faster and increase the urgency of making plays on other TVs.
You shouldn't have as much freedom to select when and where you can completely cuck her only useful mechanic. She has to make way more decisions on her own mechanic than survivors do, and given she already basically doesn't have a power unless you use the best add on combos, that's kind of a joke on conception.

Man, this exploded for my first post. Thanks guys!

She need rework.

Make it so that you get status effects the more cursed you are. So maybe blindness, then haemorrhage, then mangled, then oblivious, then exhausted and then exposed at max condemned.

And let the Killer player know when she phases out so they can learn to time it.

It already is that way.

Oh I think I know what you mean. I thought her disappearing there was just Killer animation the Killer could see, while survivors could still see my physical form. Like how Freddy's phasing works.
0 -
Oh nope. That's the real skill gap with her in trying to time your misdirects when they lose sight of you. Unfortunately it's currently too short of a disappearance and the phasing in and out doesn't last long enough after manifesting which is why I'm trying to get both of them lengthened. It's not really practical basically. The skill potential is almost there, but it's currently just not good enough to matter even if you do time it perfectly.

Yeah makes sense, I would like that buff.
The only gripe I've had with Sadako is that "Demanifest" isn't a word.

I've seen some good suggestions, but I offer 1 buff for her that I think would change Sadako and how she's played a lot. Have it so that she can see the progress towards condemned on survivors. I guarantee that would make her a lot more lethal without a single other change.

I see some good examples in here that I already agree with, so I won't repost them, but I would like it if full condemnation gave the ability to insta-down that survivor, if only to make it much more lethal and add gravity to neglecting it.
I'd also like it if there were more psychological horror to occur as the condemn meter fills (like Doctor's Madness). Have them start seeing false Onryos, make the lighting weirder, just something to help keep survivors paranoid.
Edit: Typo

Actually, she can. The portrait becomes static-y

i mean if we are gonna remove the sound que so Sadoku then remove it for demogorgon to with the portals

My eyes need to be bleached

As it should be. Unfortunately they'll never make changes to Demo again.

1. Remove the lullaby entirely
2. Decrease post projection cooldown from 100 down to 60
3. Make her Old Newspaper add-on basekit
4. Add another way for Sadako to apply condemned. Idc if it's by staying near a tv, by injuring people, or making the Ring Drawing base. She needs another means of applying it besides her teleports.

I think a lot of her add-ons should be base kit
Iri video tape
Mother's Comb
Bloody Nails
I think her Condemn mechanic should build up passively like Pinheads chain hunt.
Get rid of her lullaby
Samara has potential, I just feel like she was executed poorly

this would be cool.

I love all of these creative suggestions!
Really - being able to be immune to pallet stuns and phase through pallets while demanifested would be super good.
Also - in general - even when you're playing as her, it's hard to tell when you're manifested or not. They just dont FEEL all that different.
If you make it so that TVs are infinite Teleports and that VHS tapes only refund a small portion of the condemnation, you can force survivors to run with tapes to turn TVs off and deny her of her power for extended periods of time. This would make her much higher mobility.
Lowering the audio cue of her Teleport and making the animation a little bit longer would also make her better for ambushes, instead of trying to use TVs mid-chase.
All of these suggestions are super fun, though!
